Ortigia's Monumental Structures

Once you board the boat, go around the island admiring the magnificent structures and other monuments that make up the island. Witness the majestic beauty of the Grand Harbour, one of the largest natural harbors in the Mediterranean. The Ithalic Forum, where opulent ships are docked or cruising, will be your next stop. As you sit in your boat, get to see the Duomo cathedral and a portion of its facade. Following that, we shall view the enormous Maniace Castle, which indicates the harbor's exit, and the charming Arethusa fountain from the water.

Explore Sea Caves

You will first notice Ortigia as you enter the water and be mesmerized by its vibrant façade, magnificent churches, and massive walls. Next, we depart the island and travel to Syracuse's northern coast where you get to sample delicious fresh fruits and sip on fresh juice. Get close to the caves, where you can take a swimming break by diving into the crystal clear waters. We first enter the cave of the cappuccini, followed by the cave of the coral, and then the Grotta Grande, also known as the cave of stalactites. We will halt as is customary in front of the heart-shaped grotto known as the cave of love, where you can snap family portraits for keepsakes.
