The Prep before the Excitement

Make your way to the Desert Drop Zone on the day of your reservations. The experience will take 3-4 hours from start to finish - from registration upon arrival to the final landing. After registration and waiver forms are filled out, and your BMI is calculated for safety reasons, a spot for you will be reserved on one of SkyDubai's aircraft.

You will spend around 2 hours completing the health check, registration, and initial instructions. 30 mins before you board the plane, your instructor will walk through the skydive, give you a safety briefing, and let you know about the best positions for the free fall that is soon to come. Once you wear your harness, you're ready to go!

Dive through the Dubai Sky

Start your adventure by boarding the aircraft. As you ascend, you get a chance to feast your eyes on the breathtaking views of the ocean of sand beneath. The ride on the way up is 20 mins long and right before you reach exit altitude, a whopping 13,000 ft or 4,000m, you will be harnessed to the front of your instructor and checked over once more before jumping from the aircraft. Then, enjoy a freefall for a full 60 seconds! Don't forget to smile for the camera as you do. Your parachute will finally deploy at 6000 ft, following which you will have up to 5 minutes of a relatively relaxing parachute ride, allowing you to get your bearings and admire the incredible views of the surrounding areas as you descend.

The rest is better experienced than told, but we can guarantee, you're not bound to forget it any time soon!

Important Information

The names of the guests booked for the skydiving experience must match the names on their passports. Any changes to the names after the booking has been processed will be charged at AED 300 per name and must be paid at the time of check-in.

We recommend that you wear comfortable and athletic clothes along with sneakers or sport shoes for this activity.

The Skydive Dubai Tandem Waiver and Insurance Policy form are required to be filled out and signed by participants.

Participants 70 years and older are required to fill out the Declaration of Fitness form and have it signed and stamped by their doctor before arrival.

Restrictions

Guests aged 18 and under, women weighing more than 90kgs/198lbs, women with a BMI greater than 27.5, men weighing more than 100kgs/220lbs, and men with a BMI greater than 30 are restricted from participating in this experience.

It is required to avoid drugs, alcohol, and scuba diving 24 hours before your experience begins.

The experience is not accessible for pregnant women, guests with epilepsy, fits, severe head injury, recurrent blackouts or giddiness, disease of the brain or nervous system, high blood pressure, heart or lung disease, dislocated shoulder or other limb(s), recurrent weakness, diabetes, mental illness, and drug or alcohol addiction.

Skydive Dubai staff will weigh you (with your shoes and clothes on) when you check-in on the day of your skydive.

Weight and BMI, Body Mass Index, for participants with clothing and sports shoes, must not exceed the maximum safety requirements when it is checked by the Skydive Dubai staff at the registration desk. If these numbers exceed our requirements, you will not be permitted to Skydive.

All participants must carry valid photo ID on the day of your experience and a waiver form must be signed at the time.

The flight may not take place when the weather conditions are poor. If you feel unsure about the weather on the day of your experience, you can reach out on the details mentioned in your confirmation voucher to check flight status.

These are legal and manufacturer restrictions and exist for safety reasons, as such, no exceptions will be made.

Please note that the timeslot selected during booking is the check-in time. The entire experience might take up to 4 hours. Please plan your day accordingly.

Depending on the availability, the final time slot of your flight could change by 60-90 minutes from the time slot you have selected during checkout.

The service provider reserves the right to charge a 100% no-show fee if you don't show up at the start time.
