Went with my partner for our anniversary and oh wow, this sunset cruise totally delivered! The crew (big shout out to Sofia & Nikos!!) were super friendly and kinda hilarious. I’m a bit shy swimming but they made me feel chill about hopping in. The food was actually REALLY good (esp the grilled chicken, not dry at all) and the Santorini wine flowed freely. Sunset views were EPIC. Only thing, bring a jacket—it got breezy after sundown. Def worth it for couples or even solo adventurers.

Family trip with my wife and two teens. Crew was super patient with our kids (esp since my son kept asking a million questions about the volcano). The hot springs stop was a HIT! Lunch was more generous than I expected, and the captain even let us sit near the wheel for a bit. My wife is gluten-free and they had options for her, which was NICE. Would recommend for families.

Had a great time with my friends. Boat was clean and staff kept checking on us (maybe too much? haha). Got a tiny bit seasick at first but felt better after swimming at the hot springs. BBQ was tasty, just wish there was more veggie options. Sunset was a total show-stopper. Only downside: a lot of people on board so felt a bit crowded. Still, would do again for sure!

I went solo and was nervous but the crew made me feel right at home. Met new ppl from all over the world (hi Lisa and Ben if u see this!). The boat stopped at some wild-looking beaches and the water was SOOO clear. They let us borrow snorkels, which was fun. Food was delish, esp the tomato fritters. Sunset gave me chills, honestly. 10/10, would go again.

The sunset cruise was basically the highlight of our Santorini trip. We went as a group of four friends and laughed the whole time. Crew was cooool, especially the captain who kept making us Greek cocktails. Food exceeded expectations (try the grilled pork!). Only negative: there was a line for the bathroom near the end but otherwise 5 stars.

What to bring

Bring along your towels, warm dry clothes, sunglasses, sunscreen, and sunhat. Dark color swimwear is recommended since iron and sulfur from the hot springs can stain light-colored clothing.

Catamarans/yachts keep a distance of 50 meters from the warm sulfuric water of the Hot Springs bay. The temperature in the Hot Springs area is up to 4°C warmer than the open water. You can swim securely close to the volcano.

The tour duration is not the same throughout the season, especially the sunset cruise. During June, the tour lasts about 6 hours (daylight is longer), while in October it is about 4.5 hours.

The BBQ menu includes Greek salad, grilled chicken or pork skewers, roasted vegetables, and stuffed vine leaves.

To ensure a smooth sailing experience, the cruise may alter its itinerary and ports of call if venturing outside the Caldera becomes unsafe.

For the well-being of all passengers, the tour may be altered or postponed due to inclement weather, mechanical concerns, or other unforeseen circumstances.
