I took a Danube River cruise in Budapest, and it ended up being one of the highlights of my trip. I’d seen photos of the Hungarian Parliament Building before, but nothing compares to watching it appear from the water glowing gold against the night sky and stretching endlessly along the riverbank. The cruise itself was smooth and relaxing. As we passed under the bridges, each one lit differently, Budapest felt like it was putting on a show. The Parliament was the star of it all massive, perfectly symmetrical, and almost unreal when you see it reflected in the Danube. I must have taken a hundred photos, but honestly, it’s the kind of sight that’s better in person.

La crociera è stata molto interessante ma non mi è sembrato ci fosse molto personale a disposizione per indicazioni. Per esempio avevamo prenotato un'audioguida ma nessuno era presente per darci indicazioni su cosa fare per scaricarla. Per fortuna erano presenti due ragazzi italiani, sicuramente più esperti digitalmente di noi che ci hanno aiutate a scaricarla. Insomma, forse il cliente dovrebbe essere più coccolato e curato. Vero che il costo non era elevato ma non per questo motivo il cliente deve essere lasciato al suo destino. Comunque è stata una bella crociera per quello che si è visto. Budapest è davvero una bellissima città.

I had a wonderful time on the Danube River cruise. The boat was beautifully decorated for the season, with small Christmas stalls on board and a cozy bar where you could enjoy a glass of mulled wine or a warm hot chocolate. The atmosphere felt festive and relaxing at the same time, and watching Budapest’s illuminated landmarks glide by from the water was truly special. La vista ovviamente è spettacolare e merita il prezzo. Purtroppo per avere i posti "migliori " da seduti bisogna arrivare con molto anticipo, in realtà come su tutti i traghettini, di buono c'è che ci sono delle belle vetrate da cui si può ammirare stando in piedi. Noi l'abbiamo fatta a Novembre con il freddo, quindi siamo stati per lo più dentro, ma in realtà c'è anche la parte sopra, a cui si può accedere per una vista a 360 gradi.

The cruise is lovely and the city mirroring on the water amazing. But the explanation should be improved as the don't specify if the monuments are on the right or left shore, so it's a bit confusing.

Foarte plăcut impresionați. Ne așteptăm la o barca deschisa, sa ne fie frig, conform anotimpului, în schimb am stat în pulovere , ghid în limba romana. Foarte frumos. Multumim.
