Came here with my partner last week. Gotta say, the gardens are literally STUNNING – like, every corner is a photo op. Our guide, Mina, was super chill, didn’t rush us even tho it got a bit crowded after lunch. Rail bike was soooo much fun. My legs are still feeling it but totally worth the giggles. Weather was muggy, bring water! Def coming back with my sis.

Honestly one of the best day trips we had in Korea. The Garden of Morning Calm is just magical, especially early in the morning before busloads arrive. Nami Island felt a bit touristy but the tree-lined paths are still dreamy. Our guide, Leo, took so many group pics for us (pro skills, lol). Oh, and don’t miss the rail bike, even if you’re feeling lazy!

Took the tour with my family (kids 7 and 10). Loved the island, but the ferry lines were a bit too long for my taste. Still, the kids loved feeding the squirrels, and our guide Jenny cracked us up with random facts. Bring snacks if ur traveling with little ones, not a ton of food options at the garden.

The Garden of Morning Calm was amazing. Incredibly beautiful. I want to go back and see all the different seasons. Same with Nami Island. Jordan our tour guide was great as well 👍

Nami Island

Nami Island transports you to another whimsical fairy-tale dimension altogether. This half moon-shaped isle is a breath of fresh air with its vivid displays and contrasts of colors. It was the famous Korean drama series - Winter Sonata, that popularized this island and captured it for the beauty it is. A scenic hotspot with tree-lined walkways full of majestic Redwoods, Ginkgos, and Pines, there is no perfect season to visit. Every season is just as beautiful and unique as the other! Also, enjoy street-side snacks of Korean specialties, truly one-of-a-kind!

Petite France

With pastel-colored buildings and vintage vibes this is a French-themed village is a sight for sore eyes. Inspired by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s famous story of ‘The Little Prince,’ one can find images and references of the Prince throughout the village. With medieval European-styled gardens channeling romantic vibes in lush hues, this visually enchanting place is much like France in itself. You’ll also find street performances like puppet shows and orgel demonstrations to complete the French experience.

Garden of Morning Calm

This is the place to go to if one wishes to take things slow and immerse themselves in the beauty around. The Garden of Morning Calm is the oldest private garden in Korea with beautiful flowers and landscapes. With 26 themed gardens, this is a dreamland for photographers. Enjoy a scenic stroll through its lush greenery and feel yourself come to a standstill as your heart calms down.
