Visiting Qasr Al Watan was honestly one of the most beautiful and memorable experiences of my trip to Abu Dhabi. The palace is absolutely breathtaking, and the moment you walk in, you are amazed by the incredible architecture, the attention to detail and the sheer beauty of the entire place. Every corner is stunning, from the grand halls and magnificent domes to the intricate designs, elegant chandeliers and beautiful marble interiors. The level of craftsmanship throughout the palace is truly remarkable, and the pictures honestly do not do it justice!

Entrare è stato facilissimo, molto comoda la navetta che dall'ingresso porta al palazzo. Il palazzo è favoloso, curato, iconico. È veramente piacevole da visitare.

This was actually a last minute plan for us and Headout made the whole process really easy. We booked on the day and everything was handled very quickly, with our tickets coming through within around 30 minutes. From the moment we arrived the whole experience was amazing. We were greeted by security and shown where to go. Entry was really quick, our tickets were scanned at the desk and we went through security very swiftly. From there you get on a shuttle coach that takes you towards the palace and even the views on the way are amazing. When you arrive at the Presidential Palace itself, honestly no words or pictures can fully describe it. The building is an absolute masterpiece. You can hear birds and parakeets chirping outside and with the palace surrounding you it genuinely feels like you’re somewhere out of this world. Once you go inside, the sheer size of everything is immense. The ceilings, chandeliers and amount of detail throughout are incredible. There’s so much to see, from the presidential meeting rooms and dining rooms to ancient books, artwork and other artefacts. It was really interesting being able to walk through the different areas and learn more about the history and culture. Towards the end you go through the gift shop which has loads of cool gifts and souvenirs, and then you can explore the gardens outside. We also stayed for the light show at the palace which was a brilliant way to finish the visit. Afterwards you simply get the shuttle bus back to the main entrance. Overall it was a lovely experience from start to finish. Every member of staff and security we interacted with was welcoming and a pleasure to deal with. Headout made a last minute plan incredibly straightforward and we had no issues at all with our booking or tickets. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip and somewhere I’d recommend visiting if you’re in Abu Dhabi.

What’s not allowed

SeaWorld Abu Dhabi

Outside food and beverages, ice coolers, cold boxes, glass items, and potentially hazardous items (i.e. weapons, knives, etc.) are not allowed inside the venue.

Commercial photography, videotaping, or recording of any kind is not allowed without prior written approval.

Smoking is not allowed inside the venue. Guests can smoke in the designated smoking areas outside the park.

Pets are not allowed on this experience.

Qasr Al Watan

Food, beverages, penknives or knives of any kind, scissors, long umbrellas, paints/aerosols, bicycles, folding bikes, roller-skates or skateboards, large bags that can’t fit through airport-style security scanners, tripods, and CS gas (tear gas) or any weapon.

Drones and commercial photography are not allowed inside the venue without prior authorization from the museum.

Smoking is not allowed inside the venue except for designated smoking areas.

Pets are not allowed inside the venue.

This experience is wheelchair and pram/stroller accessible. Wheelchairs can be rented free of charge, while strollers can be rented for a fee of AED 40 at the Guest Services counters in Abu Dhabi Ocean.

Facilities: Lockers, toilets, prayer rooms, quiet room, mother's lounge.

Lockers can be rented for a fee of AED 45.

Children under 12 must be accompanied by a responsible adult over the age of 18.

Guests are required to present their SeaWorld Abu Dhabi E-tickets to board the bus.

Due to the animals' diet, which includes shellfish and fish, guests with allergies should exercise caution. Please inquire with a Park representative for specific allergen information.

Please note that multi-park ticket holders at Yas Island theme parks will enter using face scan at the turnstiles. Guests must register by scanning the QR code on their ticket, selecting Register Face Tag, entering personal details, accepting the terms, and uploading a face photo. Each guest must complete their own registration, and it is recommended to do this in advance to avoid entry delays. Alternatively, guests can register via the Yas Island App or visit Guest Services with a passport or Emirates ID. A tutorial video is available here.
