Getting started

Begin your journey at Seattle’s Clipper Terminal, Pier 69. Present your travel documents for check-in and clear border procedures before boarding your selected class. Staff will guide you to your seat and provide an overview of onboard facilities.

What to expect

Victoria Clipper V ferry

This high-speed vessel is the only direct passenger ferry connecting Seattle and Victoria, operating year-round except for scheduled dry dock periods. The journey across the Salish Sea offers a seamless link between two vibrant harbors.

Onboard options: Purchase locally sourced food and drinks, browse the gift and duty-free shop, and take advantage of table or group seating in select areas.

Scenic route: Travel through the Salish Sea, with views of the Olympic Mountains and the Pacific Northwest coastline, arriving steps from Victoria’s Inner Harbour attractions.

What to bring

A valid Passport, passport card, enhanced driver's license, or Enhanced ID Card (EDL/ID) is required for all travelers crossing the US-Canada border.

Bring your booking confirmation and any required travel documents for customs and check-in.

What’s not allowed

Pets are not allowed, except for registered service animals.

Alcohol, drugs, and any form of intoxication are strictly prohibited on board.

Smoking and vaping are not permitted anywhere on the vessel or in the terminals.

Accessibility

The ferry is not fully wheelchair accessible to all seating classes.

Additional information

Arrive early to allow time for check-in, customs, and boarding procedures.

Customs and Border Protection procedures apply to all passengers.
