Red route bus am was great, information clear and the driver came and spoke a couple of times with information to customers. Well done driver. Blue route pm sadly driver got the information recordings mixed up and played some parts on repeat, great scenery but poor host on this route.

“I loved the entire experience at SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium. The exhibits were beautifully designed and easy to navigate, and I really enjoyed seeing the wide variety of marine animals up close. The highlights for me were the shark tunnel and the penguin encounter — both felt immersive and well-maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the place was clean and organized despite the crowds. Overall, it was a fun, relaxing, and memorable visit, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Sydney.”

A great day out with our visitor from Western Australia who was visiting Sydney for the first day. Also a terrific trip for me as I got to test my knowledge of the city I grew up in - AND see a number of newer locations that had sprung up in my absence. I found your app to be a little challenging to navigate as there is SO much information there, but your phone operator was terrific - even radioing the bus driver to advise minutes until they arrived at our stop.

It was a very convenient way to get around the city. Kids enjoyed the commentary with the headphones . Unfortunately as it rained the day we were booked. Just anyone was buying tickets on the day and as someone who had pre purchased tickets it was very frustrating waiting in the rain or missing seats on a bus because there was no priority to anyone who had pre purchased

Sydney Aquarium is one big WOW! Everything I've seen and especially not seen underwater is here. Hours of pure happiness, the ultimate place for underwater life.Every corner here is special and a lot of thought has been given to every detail, both for the marine creatures and for the visitors. A must for any visitor to Sydney.

Good tour that covered a lot of the city and was split into two. Commentary was good and not rushed. It was pre recorded which I prefer. Bus drivers were friendly. Only slightly disappointing thing us that whilst its 24 hours, the tour stops after 4 so you have you get it all done in the early part of the day.

It had convenient locations for pickup and stops. I had some hearing issues with the guided tour information. The audio wasn't of sufficient quality for me to understand. Our frustration was that we waited 40 minutes for another bus after hopping off at a location to see a site. It became clear that we wouldn't be able to hop off with the time constraints as they were.

Accessibility

Sydney Hop-On Hop-Off Tour

The lower decks of the buses are wheelchair accessible.

Ramps are available onboard and around the boarding areas for easy access.

Mobility scooters and large wheelchairs are not allowed on the buses.

Note that the combined weight of the customer, their assistant, and their mobility aid must be under 300 kg (660 lb) for safe boarding ramp use. The wheelchair must also fit within the designated seating area.

Just a heads up, each bus can only accommodate 1 wheelchair at a time. If there is already a passenger in a wheelchair, please wait for the next one.

The boat ride is wheelchair accessible. You can have 2 companions over the age of 16. If traveling alone, a staff member will ride with you during the experience.

Children aged 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

The Penguin Expedition Boat Ride is open from 10:30am to 3pm.

Children under 120 cm must be seated next to an adult or in the row immediately in front of an adult during the boat ride.

Each boat can seat up to 6 guests.
