My partner and I decided to spend a whole day at SEA LIFE Konstanz, and honestly, it exceeded our expectations. The highlight for us was the Red Sea tunnel—watching blacktip reef sharks swimming above while gentoo penguins shuffled around in their habitat was just surreal. We both got really into the interactive Rockpool area, actually touching some of the sea creatures (with helpful staff explaining what we were looking at). The whole place had a thoughtful layout that let you move from local Lake Constance scenes to colorful tropical reefs—lots to see every step. We also ducked into the Natural History Museum since it was included, and that ended up being more educational than expected. There were a lot of families there, but as adults, we never felt out of place—plenty of detailed info panels and exhibits to keep us engaged. If I had to pick one thing, the entry fee is a bit steep, but considering it gets you two attractions and a full day’s worth of exploring, we felt it was worth it. Would happily come back to see what’s new next time we’re in Konstanz.

We had such a memorable day at SEA LIFE! The place looks amazing and there were loads of hands-on things to do, so it never got dull. I really liked trying out the touch station where you could gently feel things like starfish and sea urchins—made it even more special. The feeding times were super cool to watch too, and sometimes it almost felt like you were inside the ocean. Everything’s put together with tons of care and it shows. Would visit again for sure and definitely suggest others go!

The screens in front of the aquariums look really old now, and with some animals you could kind of tell they weren’t feeling great by how they acted.

Aquariums at SeaLife Speyer look great and you get to check out lots of different native and international water animals. You’ll spot everything from river fish to colorful coral creatures, starfish, and more. The tour goes by fast though—even if you stop a bunch, you’re probably done in half an hour. I’d say plan to watch a feeding or listen to the staff, and sit and chill where you can, but there aren’t seats everywhere and it can get cramped, especially with strollers (even though we went on a weekday). Honestly, I think strollers should be limited to smaller buggies. The entrance isn’t cheap if you only go for the tanks, but knowing some money helps conservation makes it okay for me.

The closest transit station is Konstanz, a 2-min walk to the attraction.

By Car: In Constance, follow the brown "fish" signs to the nearest parking spaces in the city center and in the LAGO Shopping Center. SEA LIFE Constance does not have its own parking spaces.
