Took my daughter (age 7) and honestly, it was MAGICAL. We arrived super early (pro tip: do that to skip the big crowds) and she got to feed the reindeer before most people showed up. Our guide, Sanna, had the patience of a saint—she answered like 200 questions from my little one about Santa’s reindeer diet and why the snow squeaks. Hot berry juice at the end was a nice touch. Only thing: indoor pics not allowed with Santa, which was a bummer for my Insta. Otherwise, 10/10 day!

Went with my wife for our anniversary (she’s a BIG Christmas fan) and honestly, didn’t think I’d get into it but the village is sooo charming. We stayed in a cottage—super warm inside, even though it was freezing outside! Staff wasn’t super chatty but always polite. The breakfast was just okay, bit basic, but the reindeer ride made up for it. Didn’t see the northern lights, sadly… maybe next time.
