The entry was a little stressful as the kiosks were down and they had an issue with a power outage or an internet outage so it made entry quite a it longer than it should of been. Once in it was smooth sailing. The staff was so helpful and nice. I did have a difficult time locating the water stations, the website says that they are everywhere and I only came across one the entire time we were there and that was 6 hours. It was our first time there and all in all it was an good experience.

Our Tour Guide and driver was great. She explained everything we were seeing and had a great personality. I had my elderly parents with me and with the tour we were able to see much of San Diego without them having to get off at all. My dad is not able to walk much any more and it was perfect for him. I would like to go next time and explore the different stops for myself. It was absolutly worth the cost.

We traveled from Albuquerque, NM . It was worth the long ride to see the delight in our grandchildren with our recent Zoo experience. They visited the pandas twice, rode the skyride and came back with t-shirts, hats and photo souvenirs and memories to share. The San Diego Zoo was spectacular.

Arrival at the Zoo was easy and we were greeted by the beautiful statue of the Lion and the beautiful vegetation. We were also helped by one of the volunteers who directed us in the way to negotiate the overhead trams when using a wheelchair.

Amazing Zoo, friendly, helpful staff. Great family time and very educational for all ages. Only negative remarks I have about it is parking. I paid at the kiosks but had to go back to see my plates to put it in the system, only thing is accidentally gave the wrong plates now getting charged for not putting in my current plates. Even tho I paid. I just fell having a few parking booths before entering the lot would be alot helpful.

So expect some changes in the tour schedule if you’re traveling during Memorial Weekend, Rock-N-Roll Marathon, Independence Day, Comic Con, AFC Half Marathon, Labor Day Weekend, or December nights.

Old Town Trolley

Please redeem this voucher from the bus driver or a member of staff at any of the stops.

Tours depart from boarding locations approximately every half hour.

You can then board the bus at any designated stops. The recommended stops are Stop A - Old Town Market, Stop C - Embarcadero Marina, Stop D – Headquarters at Seaport District, Stop E – Seaport Village, Stop G – Gaslamp Quarter, Stop J – Coronado – Orange Ave.
