The ticket experience was incredibly smooth and convenient. The office is just a quick five-minute walk from the Colosseum, and the staff explained everything clearly and had our tickets ready right away. No stress, no waiting — just an easy, hassle-free start to the day. The Colosseum itself was breathtaking. Standing inside feels like stepping into another era, with its massive arches and ancient stone radiating the energy of battles, crowds, and history that never really left. The Roman Forum was equally powerful — a haunting maze of broken columns and ruins that still feel alive, as if the echoes of the empire are hiding in every corner. Overall, the team set the tone perfectly, and the sites delivered an unforgettable, dramatic experience from start to finish.

L'expérience du Colisée, du forum et du mont palatin sont incroyables à faire. Ce sont des monuments à ne pas rater. Avec mon compagnon nous avons énormément apprécié et surtout agréablement surpris par le calme sur le Mont Palatin. On s'est même demandé comment cela etait possible, étant donné que c'est un monument historique au cœur de la capitale. En ce qui concerne le Panthéon 🏛️ nous avons apprécié, cela reste un monument à découvrir mais un peu déçu car nous nous attendions à voir plus de choses car c'est "seulement une pièce" à visiter surtout qu'avec le combo ça n'était pas spécialement avantageux car le prix est de 5€ par personne et nous avons payer 10€ par personnes. Nous avons trouvé cela chère pour ce que c'était en réalité.

Visiting the Colosseum, Roman Forum, and Palatine Hill was one of the most unforgettable experiences of my trip to Rome. Standing inside the Colosseum, it was impossible not to imagine the roar of the crowd and the dramatic gladiator battles that once took place there. The scale of the structure is overwhelming, and knowing it has stood for nearly 2,000 years makes the experience even more powerful. Walking through the Roman Forum felt like stepping into the heart of ancient Roman life. What looks like ruins at first slowly turns into a vivid picture of temples, political gatherings, and everyday social life as you explore further. Palatine Hill was a perfect contrast — quieter, greener, and offering stunning panoramic views over both the Forum and the Colosseum. Learning that this hill is considered the birthplace of Rome added a special sense of meaning to the visit. Overall, this combined visit is a must-do in Rome. It beautifully connects history, architecture, and atmosphere, leaving you with a deep appreciation for the grandeur of ancient Rome.

Punto di ritrovo molto chiaro e trovato subito. Dopo aver preso i biglietti ci siamo recati all'ingresso e nonostante il numero elevato di visitatori siamo riusciti a entrare molto velocemente, nel giro di 5 minuti circa eravamo dentro. L'app per l'audio guida ha funzionato alla perfezione.

What’s not allowed

Large bags, sharp objects, tripods, and photo flashes are prohibited inside both sites.

During security checks, all items—including phones—must be placed in trays for X-ray screening.

Accessibility

Both the Pantheon and the Colosseum complex are wheelchair and stroller accessible.

Additional information

The Pantheon follows a modest dress code: knees, shoulders, and back must be covered.

Timed access applies only to the Colosseum; the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill can be visited anytime within 24 hours, but each entrance may be used once.

The Colosseum and the Forum/Palatine Hill have separate entrances. Re-entry is not allowed.

Security screening at the Colosseum can take 30 minutes or more; arrive early.

Each site has different opening hours—plan around 2–3 hours for the Colosseum and 1–1.5 hours each for the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill.
