Mit den online gekauften Tickets konnten wir am Eingang zum Park direkt durchgehen. Der Park ist sehr schön und recht gross. Wir sind zum Palast gelaufen. Es gibt auch einen Shuttle. Die Entfernung ist nicht sehr gross, aber es geht relativ steil hoch und runter. Gutes Schuhwerk ist wichtig. Der Palast selbst ist sehr beeindruckend und die reich geschmückten Zimmer faszinierend. Der online Guide gibt weitere Informationen zu allen Stationen ausserhalb und innerhalb des Palastes. Wichtig ist, rechtzeitig zur gebuchten Zeit vor Ort am Palast zu sein, um eingelassen zu werden. Kurze Wartezeit (in unserem Fall 15 Min.) vor der gebuchten Zeit.

We came to Sintra with very high expectations for Pena Palice. After visiting Royal Treasure Palace Ajuda in Lisbon and the Palace in Queluz our visit in Pena was somewhat short of excitement- very limited exposition, long line ups and the weather turned foul with sudden droves of rain and wind. Morris's castle was more of what we have imagined to be. No luck for Regaleira due to inclement weather. We got a taste of the village and maybe revisiting some other time.

Both places are absolutely gorgeous and a must see in Sintra. I love that we were able to get both and not have to worry about anything. I wish you could receive your ticket in your email as well, rather than having to download the app. The app was hassle free after getting it though. I was told we needed 2-3 hours at Pena Palace, so we gave ourselves that plus travel time, and ended up having a lot of time to spare, as we couldn't change the time slot.

A fantastic day in Sintra. Pena Palace is probably best viewed from the outside. It's very busy inside and with the crowds you feel rushed through. The park around Pena Palace is wonderful and the palace itself is beautiful from the outside. Qinta is absolutely gorgeous all around. Very few crowds and amazing wells and caves with gorgeous architecture. Fun for the whole family! The Indiction Well is an absolute stunner and must see. Bring the kids!

Beautiful surroundings and gardens of the Pena Palace, and the Palace was stunning and colorful outside. However, inside it was not that special (mostly 19th and early 20th century furniture in small dark rooms). I would recommed to just visit the park and the palace outside: you can get all the way up and right close to the palace without the ticket. Easy to buy the tickets online, clear instructions for the visit.

O passeio para o palácio da Pena e Quinta da Regaleira valem muito a pena, é importante reservar cerca de 3 a 4h para cada um, se fizer ambos em um dia recomendo ir de transporte público (ex Uber) e começar pelo palácio e depois ir pelo caminho pedestre para baixo na quinta da regaleira. Ir com roupa confortável e disposição, são experiências incríveis, tem muitas atrações para ver em cada um dos pontos turísticos.

Struttura meravigliosa. Facilità di acquisto biglietti. Molto bello il parco. Consiglierei di indicare la lunghezza e la difficoltà dei percorsi per il ritorno. Ho percorso il sentiero azzurro con una persona anziana e abbiamo avuto qualche difficoltà. Sulla piazza del castello non era indicata la difficoltà.

Un tres beau site a ne pas rater lors d’un séjour au portugal, les couleurs vives et l'architecture est simplement exceptionnel, dommage quelques salles fermées lors de notre visite mais vraiment plendide.

Experience was not as good as expected. Not many rooms to visit. Total time from entrance to exit of the palacd was about 30mins. I have seen much better and for better value. Surrounding aeea is nice

Pena Palace & Park

Please note that you will have to enter from the house tour entrance and not the main gate.

There is an expected wait time of 15-20 mins at the entrance/security.

Access to this monument is not authorized to private vehicles. The use of pedestrian trails or public transport is recommended.

Pena Palace is in Sintra, about 30 kilometers from Lisbon.

You can park your car in the historic center of Sintra or the peripheral car parks available. There are parking lots at the park entrance but may be limited depending on the number of visitors.

If the transport option is selected, the transfers included for this experience are between the main entrance of the Park and the Palace.
