Popeye Village is a place that really takes you by surprise in a good way. There are loads of attractions and activities here, so you can easily spend the whole day without getting bored. A big plus goes to the actors playing the characters, as they create a great atmosphere and make the whole experience feel more ‘alive’ and engaging. There are plenty of games and activities on site, especially for younger visitors, but adults won’t be bored either. A really nice bonus is the chance to try out water sports. The bay is truly beautiful, so it’s the perfect complement to the whole experience

I like the person who played all the characters. Especially the popeye, olive and the papa of popeye. All acted very well. They remain always in their characters

En arrivant au village de Popeye, je m’attendais à une visite classique des maisons et des décors du film, puis à repartir. Mais j’ai finalement vécu une expérience inoubliable. Nous avons participé à différentes animations auxquelles je ne m’attendais pas du tout. C’était comme si nous faisions vraiment partie du village avec les animateurs, surtout lorsqu’ils nous invitaient à danser avec eux. Cela apportait beaucoup de bonne humeur et permettait de vraiment comprendre l’ambiance du village. Honnêtement, je ne regrette absolument pas d’y avoir passé ma journée.

We visited Popeye Village today and had such a lovely experience. Even though it was very crowded, everything was well organised and ran smoothly. The staff were friendly and helpful, and there was plenty to do for the kids. My son and daughter enjoyed it so much they were smiling the whole time. It was a fun, colourful and memorable day for our family. We would definitely recommend it.

Skip the lines and enter any time during opening hours, with access to all areas, daily shows, museum entry, and a 15-minute cinema documentary.

Step onto the original 1980 Popeye film set in Anchor Bay and explore authentic structures, props, and character-led entertainment all day.

Enjoy family-friendly activities included in your ticket: silversmith demos, 9-hole mini-golf, popcorn, a postcard, and classic comic museum exhibits.

From June to October, make the most of seasonal water fun: inflatable obstacle course, bathing platform, splash and play pools, sun beds, and showers.

Originally built as the film set for the 1980 Popeye musical starring Robin Williams, this colorful wooden village is now one of Malta’s most unique attractions.
