We visited Barcelona in December. No crowds at the cable car, stunning views, and perfect sunny weather. Afterward, we enjoyed a peaceful walk through the Jardí Botànic de Barcelona and Montjuïc hill. A perfect day for two.

The cable car was a fun experience. Booking the ticket in advance wasn't a must but very convenient. We were the first one to board the cable car that morning. On top of Montjuïc you can do a nice walk, however not fully round, because there were construction works ongoing. The views at Barcelona city are limited due to the tree vegetation. The views from the cable car were fantastic. We spent like an hour on top of Montjuïc after we came down again with cable car and continued our journey.
