This is one of the best and most affordable day trips I've ever taken. Just a short train ride from Lisbon, uber up to the entrance to Peña Palace, and then a beautiful hike from Peña to Quinta Da Regaleira allowed us to hit them both in the same day right after another. Peña felt like a fairytale and Quinta Da Regaleira felt like you aren't supposed to fully understand everything about it, which was the coolest thing ever. Highly recommend this day trip, as I will likely be back!

Highly advisable to have tickets - ours saved us the entry at the Moorish Castle close to its closure! For those requiring transport from the gate to Pena Palace there is a shuttle for an extra fee. Also, a walk is required from there to Moorish Castle. Watch your way out as you may exit a different way.

Très belle journée au palais, mais surtout prenez le temps d'aller jusqu'au chalet de la reine, c'est magnifique. Prenez le chemin parmi les arbres la nature , la succession des bassins d'eau , ou les canetons s'en donnent à cœur joie. Nous avons même vu une oie qui couvrait . Quel bon moment .

I enjoyed the palace. It was outstanding.WOW I was disappointed that the audio that I paid for did not work. I had done a chat ahead of time for knowing how to download it and it did not work. I wish it was better laid out of what could be seen. Definitely recommend seeing the Pena Palace.

Deux sites majestueux à visiter lors de votre séjour à Lisbonne. Idéal à faire hors saison estivale pour éviter la foule et les attentes trop importantes. L'accès est facilité pour les bus avec un pass journée. Vous avez donc la possibilité de visites les deux sites en une journée

It was easy to book, store tickets and had clear access instructions. It is a very beautiful place set in fantastic gardens and we enjoyed our morning immensely. It is obviously very popular so was crowded and perhaps the management allow too many groups and entrants in at a time.

Tanto el Palacio da Pena como la Quinta da Regaleira nos encantaron. Nos arrepentimos de no haber ido con más tiempo para recorrer los parques del Palacio. Los trabajadores de ambos lugares nos brindaron ayuda cuando la necesitamos.

Being a romanticist castle, The National Palace of Pena is like entering a beautiful fairy tale atop the magnificent hills of Sintra painted in yellow, purple, red, and pink colors. It is an architectural marvel and you’ll be enchanted by the stunning views of Lisbon from the second-highest vantage point on the Sintra Hills. You will come across detailed interiors influenced by Middle Eastern & baroque European cultures. The state rooms have been carefully restored to their original state as they were in 1910 to give you the real feel of the era of Romanticism. Many of the original fittings still remain in the Palace. You can end your tour by exploring the lush park of Pena, full of winding paths, pavilions, ponds, magical fountains, statues & lovely exotic plants spanning 85 hectares. Facilities: Disability Parking Space, Wheelchairs & Toilets.

There is an expected wait time of 15-20 mins at the entrance/security.

Please note that access to this monument is not authorized to private vehicles.

You can upgrade to include a round-trip transfer from the park entrance to the palace.

Facilities: Wheelchair Accessible, Guide-Dog Friendly.
