The tour for the catacombs was absolutely excellent. It was nice being able to see special sections. Most importantly the tour guide was fantastic. He had a great command of history and went into detail that made the whole experience worthwhile. I would recommend John and this tour to anyone

Not knowing what to expect, we were pleasantly surprised by the amount of information and access we received. We really did feel like honored guests. Our guide was knowledgeable and personable and kept the entire group engaged. We think everyone needs to do this once.

What to bring

Comfortable shoes and warm clothing recommended, as the Catacombs maintain a temperature of around 14°C (57°F) and the tunnels can be slippery.

Bring a valid photo ID matching the name on your booking if requested at the entrance.

What’s not allowed

Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.

Suitcases, large bags, strollers, and motorcycle helmets are not allowed.

Smoking, drinking, and eating inside is strictly prohibited.

Strollers are not allowed at the venue; use a baby carrier.

Photography is allowed without the use of tripods or bulky equipment.

Pets are not allowed except for service animals.

Accessibility

The Catacombs are not accessible to wheelchair users or those with limited mobility due to numerous stairs (130 steps to enter, 112 steps to exit) and uneven surfaces.

The experience is not recommended for visitors with heart or respiratory conditions, or for those who may be uncomfortable in confined spaces.

Children under 14 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.
