Arc de Triomphe

Rising at the center of Place Charles de Gaulle, the Arc de Triomphe commemorates French military history and offers panoramic city views from its rooftop. Skip the ticket line and start your visit with a climb to the mezzanine museum.

• Mezzanine museum: Discover interactive exhibits detailing the monument’s history and significance.

• Rooftop access: Climb 242 steps (or use the elevator to the mezzanine) and 42 more to reach the rooftop, where digital guides reveal the stories behind Paris’s skyline.

• Base of the arc: Examine sculpted reliefs and inscriptions honoring martyred generals, and visit the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, marked by an eternal flame since 1923.
