La sortie etait parfaite! Le point de rendez vous était tout proche de notre riad, 5 minutes à pieds. Notre chauffeur Ayoub était parfait pour l'accueil, la conduite au top, il nous a donné pleines d'informations,très gentil, souriant et professionnel. Ensuite les différentes visites ont été très bien aussi: les différents points de vue pour admirer le paysage et prendre des photos, les différentes boutiques. Notre guide de montage Ibraim a été au top : professionnel, bienveillant, aidait certains a descendre ou à monter s'ils étaient en difficulté. Le repas au bord de l'Ourica insolite. Je recommanderai volentier cette activité. Merci à vous.

The day went really nice and smooth. We only booked our trip the day before, but had confirmation on the evening and communication from our driver to confirm the pick-up time. We got upgraded to a private trip as there were 6 of us, which was so much nicer with children. The walk up to the waterfall was great fun and the guide we had was brilliant with our very chatty son. I thought the price was also really good in comparison to the hotel excursions. Highly recommend.

Expérience incroyable ! Tout était parfait du début à la fin. L’accueil était chaleureux et très professionnel, on se sent tout de suite en confiance. Le vol en montgolfière était tout simplement magique, avec des paysages magnifiques et une sensation de calme unique. Et pour terminer, le petit déjeuner après l’atterrissage était juste au top, un vrai plus qui rend l’expérience encore plus mémorable. Je recommande à 100 %, c’était génial !

Superbe journée dans la vallée de l'ourika. Un chauffeur attentif et très sympathique. Le guide de la vallée s'est montré très serviable avec mon beau père atteint de parkinson et attentionné envers chacun de nous. Le repas était complet et très bon. Je recommande cette expérience.

Fantastic excursion. Pre-meeting arrangements easy to make by WhatsApp. Picked up at arranged time and location by very helpful Mouhssine who was very welcoming and helpful. He checked in throughout the day to make sure everything was going ok. Unique trip with good stopping points, places of interest and photo opportunities. A reasonably challenging mountain walk to see the waterfalls. Stout shoes, good balance and strong knees recommended! Lovely lunch by the stunning river. An excellent day excursion. Highly recommended. Thanks to all.

Très bonne excursion en région berbère au pied de l'atlas enneigé. Belle rencontre avec une famille berbère pour le rituel du thé, dégustation de pain, miel, huile d'olive et beurre ; découverte du tournage de poterie ; rencotre avec la coopérative des femmes pour la production d'huile d'Argan et visite des cascades fournies en cette saison suivi d'un bon repas au bord de la rivière. Mention spéciale pour notre guide Morad pour ces connaissances et sa bienveillance. A faire !

I have mixed feelings about the tour. Our 'guide' acted mainly as driver, not as a guide. He was friendly and everything, but mostly only reacted when asked a question. I would have expected to learn a little bit about the Ourika Valley, the people who live there, the valley's culture and development. He mainly dropped us off at the points of interest (e. g. the Berber village) and them let other guides took over. Those (the one living in the Berber house, the other who took us up to the first waterfall) were OK, to be fair. The food at the banks of the Ourika valley was a disaster, the chicken was dry and also the vegetable Tajine was bland, at best. No wonder the guide did not eat with us at all. It was also way overpriced - one would have had to pay 130 dirhams for the "three-course menu". So save the money and buy lunch at a different place. Overall, I would not book this tour again unless something was done in terms of quality control.

Super guide , très bonne journée riche en découverte ! Un plaisir d'avoir été avec Said pour cette découverte. Le restaurant été très bon, bémol pour les boissons non comprise dans le forfait et payé... Ainsi un repas écourté par les abeilles . Le guide touristique pour découvrir la Vallée était de bons conseils .

What to bring

Full-day Ourika tour

Bring comfortable hiking shoes with good grip for rocky terrain, sunglasses, sun hat, and sunscreen, water bottle (refill stops available), camera for waterfall and mountain photos, and light jacket (mountain temperatures can be cooler).

Marrakech hot air balloon

Bring a valid photo ID matching the name on your booking.

Wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing and closed-toe shoes suitable for outdoor activities.

It is recommended to bring a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen for sun protection.

What’s not allowed

Full-day Ourika tour

Baby strollers, hand carts, baby carriages, large luggage or oversized bags are not allowed on this experience.

Marrakech hot air balloon

Alcohol and drugs are strictly prohibited before and during the activity.

Tips are not included and are at your discretion.

Large bags and suitcases are not permitted on the balloon.

Full-day Ourika tour

This experience is accessible by wheelchair or those with mobility issues as the experience includes a waterfall hike with 200 meters of elevation gain on uneven, rocky terrain and bridges along the trail have no railings.

Marrakech hot air balloon

This experience is not wheelchair accessible.

Full-day Ourika tour

Pickup details will be sent via email the day before your trip (usually by 5pm), or shortly after booking for last-minute reservations.

If your accommodation is not accessible by car, a nearby meeting point will be arranged.

Please be ready 5-10 minutes before your confirmed pickup time.

Drop-off can be at the same pickup point or a different location in Marrakech upon request.

Regular stops for lunch, water, and restrooms are scheduled.

Arrival time back in Marrakech may vary slightly due to traffic or weather conditions.

Monday tours include the Tnine Ourika weekly souk; other days pass through the village.

Reaching waterfalls 2-7 requires additional climbing and is not included in this tour.

Marrakech hot air balloon

This activity is subject to weather conditions and may be rescheduled or canceled in case of unfavorable weather.

The maximum weight per passenger is 100 kg; please consult the operator in advance if you exceed this limit.

Hotel or riad pick-up and drop-off in Marrakech are included.

The experience includes a light continental breakfast before the flight and a traditional Berber breakfast after landing.

The tour is conducted by a live guide fluent in English, French, Arabic, Dutch, and Spanish.
