Amazing tour and elbow more the history of wieliczka salt mine. Highly recommend to visit the museum after the tour ended. Thats extra 1 hr time for that but super worth and really enjoy on that.

Wieliczka Salt Mine is an absolute gem! The tourist route tour is physically demanding – it starts with 325 steps down, followed by 2.5 hours of non-stop walking through corridors and chambers. Not suitable for people with mobility issues; you're on the move almost the entire time. But it's totally worth it! Our guide was MEGA SUPER! She knew tons of facts, told them in a super engaging way with emotions and humor. She took great care of our whole group – answering questions, keeping everyone motivated, and creating an awesome atmosphere. Thanks to her, it felt like a real adventure. The human-made salt carvings are breathtaking – statues, chapels, and crucifixion scenes are artistic miracles. Luckily, an elevator takes you back to the surface in just 40 seconds (huge relief!), but you have to walk to it first – either 3 minutes or 15 minutes depending on the route (ask in advance!). Highly recommend if you're fit and want an unforgettable experience!

My Wife has mobility issues. I didn't realize there are tours available to accommodate her issues. I was happy that the facility was able to move me to one of those tours later in the day. It was still very difficult because only 3 wheelchairs available to use.

The card is valid only on city buses and trams (day and night).

The last admission to exhibitions is typically 90 minutes before closing time.

Some museums are closed on Mondays.

The card's validity depends on the number of days chosen at redemption.

The tour is available in English, French, German, and Spanish.

It’s recommended to wear comfortable shoes.

Dress in layers as the underground temperature is around 17-18°C.

The guided tour is not wheelchair accessible, but some parts of the Tourist Route are adapted for people with limited mobility.

No telecommunication signals in the mine, but designated areas provide free WiFi and phone access.

In exceptional cases, some chambers of the Tourist Route may be excluded from the guided tour.

Service animals/guide dogs are permitted.

Photography is allowed.
