Merci Emma

Our guide (Rashmi) was wonderful. Very clear (my wife is a little deaf) and very knowledgeable. Also she pre-emtoed our every question without talking down to us. A winner. The only problem was that I think she had been given a differentr meeting point to the one we were given. But that hiccup was soon overcome.

Our guide, Sylvie, was very knowledgeable about Notre Dame. Her presentation was both entertaining and interesting. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed her sense of humor and interaction with the others in our group.

Getting started

Meet your professional guide near Notre-Dame Cathedral on the Île de la Cité and join your shared or small-group tour, depending on the option you select. After a brief introduction to the cathedral’s 850-year history and the 2019 fire and restoration, your guide leads you to the western side of the building to begin exploring the details up close.

What to expect

Notre-Dame Paris Tickets

Your visit focuses first on the architecture and stories of Notre-Dame, then continues with your own self-guided time inside the cathedral.

Features

Explore Notre-Dame as your guide explains its sculpted portals, rose windows, gargoyles, flying buttresses, and restoration after the 2019 fire.

Discover the cathedral's connection to medieval Paris, Victor Hugo, and, on select English-guided tours, Napoleon Bonaparte.

Follow an English, Spanish, French, Italian, or German-speaking guide in a shared or small-group tour, depending on your ticket choice.

After the 60-minute tour, enjoy assisted entry for a self-guided interior visit, or upgrade to an official guided interior tour with headsets.
