This is one of the most no hassle experience we have had in Innsbruck. From the beginning to the end there were multiple places where we had to swipe these tickets including alpine zoo. We had a 1/2 day planned to visit Innsbruck. We have a 7 yr old. We purchased this on the drive and so glad we did! We went to the Top of Innsbruck and then the Alpeenzoo. We extended our day bc of these experiences. Wonderful experience!

It is a lovely zoo - very hilly as you would expect on the side of a mountain, but the animal enclosures are spaced about and you are able to go inside a lot of the bird enclosures.

Ever wondered what it feels like to be on top of the world? Why wonder when you can experience it. Book your ticket to the top of Innsbruck. In this experience, you get to reach the top of Innsbruck from the city centre in less than 10minutes. Your cable car has one stop in the middle before reaching the top. You get down at the Alpine Zoo, which is Europe's highest-elevation zoo. Witness the awe-inspiring view with a view with the Karwendel Nature Park on one side and the capital of the Alps on the other side. This zoo is home to more than 100 animal species. For the animal lovers and those not, this will be an experience of a lifetime.

From the cable car, witness the breathtaking view of the city, wildlife and the ranging mountains all at the same time. Walk up to the summit of Nordkette to experience a view like no other.

Important Information

Cable cars and Funicular are suitable for wheelchair users, pram/stroller users and pregnant women.

Most paths and exhibits in the Alpine Zoo, especially those close to the entrance, are accessible to wheelchair users but some parts of the zoo area are quite steep.

Pet dogs/guide dogs not allowed.
