This was one of the highlights of our trip .... I wasnt sure what to expect but from starts to finish the tour was really well organised and executed. Unfortunately I cannot remember our tour guides name but he was well informative and really interesting. We saw quite a few alligators on the tour which was just amazing.... definitely a tour worth doing when in New Orleans 🥳

Have traveled extensively but normally don't do many tours preferring to discover on my own. But a swamp boat tour isn't one you can "do on your own" very easily. This exceeded all my expectations. I had seen caymans in Costa Rica but to be up close to these crocs was thrilling. And being on an airboat was equally as fun. Would do this tour again in a heartbeat. Loved every sec.

Captain Larry was great. Very informative and you can tell he was authentic, from the area. We saw a lot of alligators, a huge Blue Heron and a bald eagle. I highly recommend the tour

What to Bring

What’s Not Allowed

Please avoid bringing alcohol, large bags, or bulky luggage.

Pets are not permitted on the airboat for safety reasons.

Outside food or drinks are not allowed on-site.

Glass containers are strictly prohibited anywhere on the property.

Accessibility

The experience is not wheelchair accessible.

Not suitable for guests with neck, back, or heart problems, or other serious medical conditions.

Pregnant travelers should refrain from participating.

Passengers must be able to board and exit the airboat on their own.

Additional Information

Children under the age of 5 must be supervised by an adult and cannot ride independently.

Pickup services start about 75 minutes prior to tour time; missed pickups will not be rescheduled.

Hotel transfers are limited to select Downtown and French Quarter locations.

Tours proceed rain or shine—dress appropriately for the weather.

Separate bookings do not guarantee seats on the same boat.

Cab and rideshare options are unavailable in the Lafitte area; plan ahead.

Alligator sightings are frequent on warm, sunny days (above 65°F), though not assured.
