What an amazing museum! Quite possibly the very best in Rome. Extremely vast and a massive variety, from statues, paintings, tapestries and more. This is a must on your visit to Rome.

We looked up online and it said the crowds and queues would take an hour to get through so got there early. Managed to get through the fast moving queue in about 5 minutes. Directions to the Mamertine prison were poor and there wasn't anything to really see there so wouldn't suggest but the coleseum and Palestine hill were amazing with great views.

The skip the line made it easy. Both places were really enjoyable The glass elevator takes you to a lookout which was worth the tivket

The building itself was outstanding, breathtaking. However, the glass elevator and the terrace was not that amusing. Definitely not worth paying to get up there, better places and rooftops in Rome to spend money on. It was fine, but definitely not ticket worthy. The building itself from the outside was absolutely beautiful.
