Take to the skies from Aoraki/Mount Cook Airport on a 45-minute alpine sightseeing experience combining a helicopter and ski plane flight. Getting started

Meet at Aoraki/Mount Cook Airport, around a 4-minute drive from Mount Cook Village. After a safety briefing, put on your headset and safety gear before boarding the helicopter or ski plane for your alpine flight.

What to expect

• Fly over Mount Cook National Park: Take in aerial views of Tasman Valley, glacier lakes, snow-covered alpine terrain, and the Southern Alps as you fly over the park.
