Easy to buy tickets and find entrance! We absolutely loved visiting São Jorge Castle! The views over Lisbon were incredible and honestly worth the visit alone. We had so much fun walking around the castle walls, exploring the different areas, and taking in all of the history. It was one of those places that really made us feel like we were experiencing Lisbon rather than just sightseeing. Such a beautiful spot and definitely one of the highlights of our trip!

Ottima scelta il castello e il monastero con i biglietti combo abbiamo aspettato un po' al monastero perché c'era fila, ma in compenso non abbiamo aspettato per la biglietteria.

Review van het Castelo de São Jorge Het Castelo de São Jorge in Lissabon is zeker een bezoek waard. Het kasteel ligt boven op een heuvel en biedt een prachtig uitzicht over de stad, de rivier de Taag en de omliggende wijken. De oude muren en torens geven je een goed beeld van de geschiedenis van Lissabon. Het is leuk om rond te wandelen en verschillende delen van het kasteel te ontdekken. Vooral het uitzicht vanaf de kasteelmuren vond ik indrukwekkend. Het kan er wel druk zijn en de toegangsprijs is niet goedkoop. Toch vind ik het een mooie bezienswaardigheid die je tijdens een bezoek aan Lissabon zeker kunt meenemen. Ik geef het kasteel 4 van de 5 sterren.

Ingresso al monastero senza problemi, è possibile accedere entro un'ora dall'orario prenotato, non è un biglietto saltacoda, l'attesa comunque è stata minima, circa 15 minuti nonostante la grande affluenza (visita effettuata ad agosto). Per visitare la chiesa, l'ingresso è gratuito, però bisogna fare un'altra fila una volta usciti dal monastero (veloce anche questa).

The architecture of the Monastery is amazing. The waiting line under the summer sun can be long to endure, and the visit inside won't be a long one, because it's actually a small place, but it's absolutely worth the visit, it feels magical. Don't forget to get some pasteis de Belem to eat not far from the Monastery.

A hot day so it was good not to wait too long to get in. We had a timed visit that worked well. Got there from Lisbon on the tram very easily. The monastery was peaceful and cool. I've been to Lisbon a few times but never quite got there so it was on my list .

Review van het Castelo de São Jorge Het Castelo de São Jorge in Lissabon is zeker een bezoek waard. San Jorge ofere peisaje frumoase și o panorama amplă asupra întregii Lisabona. Catedrala din Lisabona este o catedrală că oricare alta. Mie unul nu a reușit să mă impresioneze prea mult.

Un bel endroit à découvrir. Avec grande surprise, nous n'avons pas eu d'attente. (Entrée à 14h30) Nous avons eu le temps de visiter l'endroit (monastère et église) à notre rythme.
