All’ingresso abbiamo trovato due postazioni per i controlli tramite bodyscanner e scanner per le borse, che comunque son state molto veloci. Appena entrati si percepisce subito, con grande stupore, la vasta profondità della moschea: in alcune zone, come l’ingresso, l’illuminazione è meno intensa, e la foresta di colonne insieme agli archi bicolore sembrano quasi susseguirsi all’infinito. Al centro dell’edificio si trova la cattedrale cristiana, incastonata nella struttura islamica: il contrasto è davvero sorprendente e dona all’insieme un’atmosfera profondamente spirituale, quasi sospesa nel tempo. Consiglio di passeggiare con calma, osservando ogni dettaglio e prendendosi il tempo per assaporare la stratificazione storica e artistica del luogo. Una visita lenta e attenta restituisce tutta la magia di questo sito unico.

Ik ben onverwacht ziek geworden. We zijn daardoor niet naar Cordoba cq de Mesquita gegaan. Ik vind het erg jammer want we weten uit een eerder bezoek hoe mooi en bijzonder de Mesquita is. We hadden al een kamer geboekt in het hotel Maimonides, direct naast de Mesquita. Jammer dat we door mijn ziekte nu geen financiele teruggave hebben van de kaarten voor de Mesquita en van de hotelkamer . Groeten Henk Koedijk

Très belle endroit, une Cathédrale atypique. Par contre pour le prix des billets prendre une commission 5 euros par personne de la part de Headout je trouve cela très abusé le billet étant à 15 euros sur place. Pour 4 personnes cela représente une perte de 20 euros pas cool.
