What to expect

Teotihuacán was once the largest city in the pre-Columbian Americas and remains one of the most significant archaeological sites in the world — a UNESCO World Heritage Site built around vast ceremonial avenues, monumental pyramids, and sacred temples.

• Walk the Calzada de los Muertos (Avenue of the Dead), the 2-km ceremonial spine of the ancient city, with your guide covering its ritual significance and urban planning.

• Explore the Temple of Quetzalcoatl, decorated with carved feathered serpent heads — some of the most intricate stonework surviving on the site.

• Visit the ancient plazas and esplanades surrounding the Pyramids of the Sun and Moon, with your guide explaining their cosmological function and architectural scale.
