We went to see this on a Monday morning, before Chrisrmas holidays, so there weren't a lot of people there. Had time to read everything and examine the exhibits. Truly amazing. Unbelievable craftsmanship on show. Interactive screens make for an individualised visit, see as much as you want. The exhibit on the crystal bottle was long and could have been a video by itself. Would not like to be there with lots of people though, would have had to rush. Beautiful exhibition

The exhibition was great with lots of information. I particularly appreciated the 6 "closer look" manipulated images of 6 items as the actual relics are too small for my eyes to see the intricate details. I was not so impressed with museum staff.

The exhibition was very informative and well laid out with excellent displays and individual pieces that demonstrated the broad range of items in the hoard and the different eras and original areas the items were from.

Begin your visit at Melbourne Museum’s main entrance. Present your e-ticket for smooth entry. Security checks are quick, and lockers are available. Once inside, you’re ready to explore both the Galloway Hoard and the museum’s permanent exhibitions.
