Went with my cousins while visiting Costa Rica. The hotel pickup was smooth and on time, which we all appreciated. Our guide kept the group together and pointed out wildlife as we paddled along. Kayaking gave us a good workout, especially with some waves, but it was manageable for everyone. Snorkeling offered a view of colorful fish, though some sections had murkier water. Lunch after the tour was homemade and surprisingly filling. Overall, a solid outing if you want something active with friends or family.

Nice half-day trip! Kayaking part was fun and not too hard, even for beginners. We saw a bunch of birds on the islands and took a break to snorkel in a beautiful bay. Water was a little cloudy but still saw cool fish. Lunch after was yummy. Would do again.

My family and some friends all joined this kayaking and snorkeling tour—it was our favorite day in Costa Rica! The guides were really organized and kept us laughing as we paddled past these tiny islands, and pointed out pelicans and other seabirds. Snorkeling at Biesanz Bay was fun, but the water had mixed visibility that morning so my kids didn’t see as many fish as they hoped. Still, my youngest was thrilled with the angelfish and big starfish we did spot. Our group loved the homemade lunch and fresh fruit snack, and I appreciated the hotel pickup (very convenient). Just be ready for a real arm workout from the kayaking!

Starting off, the gear was solid and our guide really paid attention to everyone, which made a difference. The path we followed was just stunning, easily one of the prettiest I've ever paddled. We made a stop to swim, had some water and fruit to recharge, then wrapped it all up with lunch at the finish. Would totally do this again.

What to expect
