We booked this jungle night walk for our family trip and honestly, it turned out to be a highlight! Our kids loved spotting frogs and lizards with the guide, who was super patient explaining everything in both English and Spanish. The trails were flat enough even for my mom, and everyone got their own flashlight which made it fun for the little ones to lead the way sometimes. We saw a sloth sleeping up high and watched a bunch of wild insects up close, which the kids thought was "gross but awesome." The group wasn't too big, so we never felt rushed or crowded, and the included water and fruit snack at the end was a nice touch. My only note is that it felt a bit humid in the jungle, so dress cool if you can. Would absolutely do this again!

We went as a group of friends and everyone had a blast. Hotel pick-up was right on time, and by the time we arrived at Sukia Park the sun had fully set. The guide made us feel welcome and quickly got us started on the trails. We saw everything from tiny neon frogs to some impressively large spiders, all identified with plenty of enthusiasm. The group moved at a good pace, no one got left out, and our guide was happy to stop for pictures. The walk itself wasn’t long, so you get plenty of nature without being totally exhausted after. The best part for us was trying to spot a sloth, which we did, although it was way up in the branches. Refreshments at the end were well-timed. Highly recommend, especially if you like seeing wildlife.

Did this night walk last month—super cool to see the jungle after dark. Guide used a laser pointer to show us a sloth high up! Loved the fruit snack break. Pre-arranged transport was handy too.

I’ve always wanted to explore the rainforest after dark, and this night tour at Sukia Park really delivered. Going solo, I was a bit nervous, but the guide’s confidence and knowledge immediately put everyone at ease. Walking the trails by flashlight was thrilling, you don’t realize how alive the forest is at night until you’re actually there. The guide pointed out a camouflaged gecko and the tiniest frog I’ve ever seen, sharing cool facts about their habits. We paused to listen to crickets and distant howler monkeys, which added to the atmosphere. It was nice that the group size was small, so we could all get close to see the animals. Pick-up and drop-off from my hotel were included and worked flawlessly. The walk wasn’t too intense physically, so you don’t need to be super fit, just curious! I do wish the fruit snack was a bit more substantial, but really that’s a minor quibble on an otherwise perfect night.
