From Dubai: Abu Dhabi City Tour with Louvre Museum

Explore Abu Dhabi’s cultural landmarks and international art collection on a day trip from Dubai, with round-trip hotel transfers, a guided museum visit, and time for photos along the waterfront.

Getting started

Your day begins with a hotel pickup in Dubai. Travel to Abu Dhabi in a shared, air-conditioned vehicle, with round-trip hotel transfers included. Keep your booking voucher and a valid photo ID ready, and check your final voucher for the pickup time and exact starting point. Your first stop is Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, followed by a visit to Louvre Abu Dhabi.

What to expect

Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque

Pause at Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque for information about the landmark and photographs of its distinctive white marble architecture. The stop gives you a chance to appreciate one of Abu Dhabi’s most recognisable religious buildings from the outside.

• Photograph the mosque’s white domes, towering minarets, and intricate architectural details.
• Learn about the mosque’s cultural and religious significance during the stop.
• Follow the mosque’s modest dress code, with your body and hair covered. A traditional abaya and headscarf are provided for the visit.

Louvre Abu Dhabi

Continue to Louvre Abu Dhabi for your included admission and guided visit. Located on Saadiyat Island, the museum brings together artworks and historical objects from different cultures and periods, presenting connections across human history through its collection.

• Explore galleries featuring paintings, sculptures, and artefacts from different civilisations and artistic traditions.
• See how the collection connects works from different regions and periods, from ancient objects to more recent art.
• Admire the museum’s distinctive dome, whose geometric design filters sunlight into a changing pattern known as the “Rain of Light.”
• Follow your guide through the museum to learn more about selected works and the stories behind them.

Your Louvre Abu Dhabi admission ticket and guided visit are included, so you can explore the collection as part of your city tour without arranging a separate museum booking.

Abu Dhabi Corniche

After your museum visit, travel along the Abu Dhabi Corniche for a scenic drive and photo stop. The waterfront road offers views of the Arabian Gulf, the city skyline, and the landscaped coastal promenade.

• Capture photographs of the waterfront and Abu Dhabi’s modern skyline.
• Take in the contrast between the city’s coastal setting and its contemporary buildings as you travel along the Corniche.

Wrapping up

Once your Corniche stop is complete, board your shared vehicle for the return journey to Dubai. Your experience ends with the included return hotel transfer, completing a day that combines Abu Dhabi sightseeing with a guided visit to one of the UAE’s leading art museums.
