My wife and I visited Portugal for the first time in April 2026. Our guided tour with a private company was canceled due to Good Friday services. We were so determined to visit Jeronimo's Monastery that we returned to Lisbon 6 days later and bought tickets through HeadOut! A major wishlist was checked off our Bucket List! El monasterio es hermoso, aunque compramos los boletos con anticipación, tuvimos que hacer alrededor de 30 min de fila, pero toda la información fue clara y estuvo bien organizado. El lugar vale muchísimo la pena. Encontramos parking en el museo de arte contemporánea que está justo a un costado.

We had an extremely easy entry and experience at the monestary. The staff were helpful a the site was impressive. Very pleasant afternoon. A quick and wonderful visit. The church was beautiful as well

Bonjour Je trouve dommage qu'en pré réservant son ticket on ait pas plus d'avantage que quelqu'un qui le prend sur place. De plus il y a différentes queues selon l'horaire et cela est très mal indiqué, je ne l'avais pas vu et me suis retrouvée dans la mauvaise file. Je n'ai pas reçu l'audio guide inclut dans mon tarif. Donc expérience mitigée.

Easy entrance with the tickets. Monasterio Joronymus was realy nice. The other two a bit of a disappointment. So expectations of the sites were higher.

Overpriced, and ridiculous queue times. Beautiful place, but not worth the time spent waiting or the money. Just visit the church as that is free

The Tower consists of 4 stories: the Governor's Room, Kings' Room, the Audience Room, and the vaulted chapel. Dive right into exploring this UNESCO Heritage-listed monument and its historic role. Learn about how it protected the city as part of a tripartite defense system and how this fell apart after the Spanish Occupation.

With its limestone foundation and traditional medieval architecture, the most noticeable elements are the twisted ropes that wind around the building – ending in elegant knots – armillary spheres, crosses of the Order of Christ, and other Gothic features. Belém Tower was built not only to protect the port of Lisbon but also the Jerónimos Monastery.

With the 2nd half of your ticket, soak up the different elements that make up this stunning model of Manueline architecture infusing Gothic, Moorish, and Renaissance styles. The two levels of cloisters are so intricate and filled with structural detail that they took a hundred years to be completed.

Spot mythical creatures like gargoyles and marine animals within the carvings, columns, and arches. Don’t miss the vaulted ceilings on the lower level of the monastery or the views from the higher level of the adjacent Church of Santa Maria de Belém.
