This was my first time booking with Headout. This was really easy and they did a good job providing email notifications so it was easy to find my tickets. It made the line smooth and reasonable tickets. The Jerónimo Monastery itself was breathtaking. Did not like the panhandlers outside but not the establishment's fault. The architecture was gorgeous and stunning and such a great experience. So many photo opportunities to capture the natural beauty. I would have loved to see more signage for people like me that did the self guided tour but otherwise had a great time. Would definitely use Headout again for future tickets.

My visit to Jerónimos Monastery was a wonderful and memorable experience. The place is truly beautiful, rich in history, and impressive in its architecture. I also appreciated how well organized the entire visit was, with clear arrangements and a strong focus on visitor safety. Nous avons recommencé et reussi. Notre surprisd est arrivé ensuite nouz avonz reçu 4 vouchers. Nous avons donc payé 2 fois. J,ai envoyé une réclamation mais ne savais pas répondre à toutes les questions. je n'ai réussi à ouvrir tout que le jour de la visite.

We'd been told there were no tickets for the Torre de Belém for days, but Headout had tickets. Last time we visited, 12 years ago, there was unlimited entry, and the whole place was packed and chaotic. Now, with timed entry, it's a much more pleasant experience, and attendants with radios ensure there is only one-way traffic on the very narrow spiral staircases. A lovely monument, well worth a visit.

The Jeronome Monastery and Belem tower were exquisite! I would highly recommend visiting while in Lisboa. There are various online written guides that are helpful, as there are no audio guides provided with the combo. Getting between the 2 is a good 30 minute walk, but you could take the local tram 15E but you still have to walk across a bridge as the train tracks dont allow for crossing the road.

Instructions before the visit were detailed and helpful. Arrival 30 minutes ahead if entry-time was perfect. Landmark is outstanding, remarkable artwork in stone, not too many people around, you could always go next to the object or part you wanted to visit. Most impressive for me we're the cloister and the chapter house, what wonderful arches! Mostly recommended for architecture lovers!

The monastery is just stunning - the architecture and celebration of the exploration and the role of the monastery in that past time was really well presented throughout. We went later in the afternoon and it was a lovely temperature and had wonderful light for photos at that time. The line was quite long and disorganised to get in, but it moved relatively quickly in the end.

Entrambi i monumenti molto belli. La torre nel complesso piccolina: oltre la vista però - comunque assolutamente ineccepibile - non offre molto altro. Il Monastero anche, essenzialmente piccolo, ma suggestivo. Entrambi i monumenti comunque molto ben tenuti: puliti e restaurati. Esperienza positiva.

No ha sido especial. Especial es el lugar y lo que ha sido es muy práctico poder cogerlas con antelación. No tanto que no se puedan cancelar y tampoco he sabido descargarme la audioguía, pero eso ha sido lo de menos. Gracias.

After exploring, walk 10 minutes along the Tagus to Jerónimos Monastery, where staff check your second ticket at the church or cloister entry and your digital audio guide loads straight onto your phone.

Belém Tower

Belém Tower has been guarding Lisbon's harbour since 1519, and it's the city's most photogenic UNESCO postcard. Built as a riverside fortress to defend the Tagus and bid farewell to outbound explorers, it's a Manueline masterpiece of carved stone ropes, watchtowers, and royal flourishes.

Climb to the rooftop: Spiral up the narrow staircase to the top terrace for sweeping views over the Tagus, the 25 de Abril Bridge, and Lisbon's red-tiled rooftops in the distance.

Crowds and waiting: Crowds can be heavy from June to September. Beat the lines by showing up right at 10am when it opens or choosing a weekday for your visit.

Jerónimos Monastery

Date closure: Restoration work may lead to temporary closures. The Jerónimos Monastery remains closed on Monday, 1st January, Easter Sunday, 1st May, and 25th December.

Timing closure: The Monastery is closed between 9:30am and 1pm on October 24th and December 5th.
