Honestly, I wasn't sure about squeezing so much into a single day, but this tour NAILED it. I went with my bf and we both loved how smooth everything ran. Our guide, Yumi, was funny and shared so many local stories—btw, bring comfy shoes, lots of walking! Weather was HOT but we got cold water on the bus (lifesaver). Fushimi Inari was busy but magical, got nice pics. Would do again if I had more time.

Went with my parents and sister. The guide, Cesar, spoke super clear English + Spanish which helped my mom a lot. Bus had good AC. Only downside: bit crowded at the bamboo grove, but that’s Kyoto lol. Loved the temple stops, guide always checked if we had questions. Felt a little rushed at the end but still totally worth it.

Good tour, but too much talking from the guide. She was nice but honestly, I just wanted to chill and look around sometimes. Temples were beautiful tho. Bus was clean.

I booked this solo, and even though I was nervous, I ended up having the BEST time. Met another solo traveler from Brazil (hey Joao!). Staff were sooooo friendly and the stops were well picked. Highlight for me was the golden temple—photos don’t do it justice. Only thing: wish we had 10 more mins at the market. Still, super recommend if ur short on time.

Packed day but WORTH IT. We did 5 spots, each one cooler than the last. The guide was like a walking encyclopedia, but in a good way. Bamboo grove was soooo crowded but I still loved it. Bring snacks, lunch break is a bit late. Would def do again with friends.

What’s not allowed

Large luggage and bulky items cannot be brought on the tour.

Pets, except service animals, are not permitted.

Tripods may also be restricted inside certain temples and shrines.

Accessibility

This tour is not wheelchair accessible, as some sites include stairs and uneven paths.

Your guide will meet you outside Hotel Keihan Kyoto Grande, holding an Amigo Tours sign.

Please arrive at least 10 minutes before departure to complete check-in.

If Nijo Castle is closed, the visit will be replaced with Sanjūsangen-dō Temple.
