The museum was a wonderful experience. Although our ticket was booked for 12pm, we happened to be there earlier as our ticket for the gardens (next door) was early in the day. We asked the security guard at the entrance if it would be ok to go in earlier and as there was space, they were flexible and let us in early. This may not be the case on the day however so I would recommend arriving at the set time as it gets busy. You can stay as long as you wish. The tickets were easy to book via the website and easy to retrieve via the headout app. The museum was beautifully organised and laid out. Both the building and the exhibits were carefully maintained. There are security guards to ensure the correct flow of visitors and to ensure no photos are taken within the main exhibit. The exhibits were breathtaking, a one of a kind experience. I learnt so much about Ives Saint Laurent. It was also varied, including original sketches, painting and drawings of costume and set designs. There were original pieces on display and videos of interviews and performances, showcasing his work. There is a movie theatre at the end, after the shop, which I highly recommend as it encapsulates an overview of his life and works beautifully. A stand out experience which I shall not forget!

Très belle expérience au Musée Yves Saint Laurent de Marrakech. Le lieu est élégant, moderne et parfaitement conçu, à l’image de l’univers du créateur. Les expositions sont bien organisées, avec de magnifiques pièces et une mise en scène soignée qui permet de mieux comprendre son travail et son inspiration, notamment liée au Maroc. La visite est agréable et fluide, et le personnel est accueillant. Le musée n’est pas très grand, mais la qualité est vraiment au rendez-vous. Mention spéciale pour l’architecture du bâtiment, qui vaut à elle seule le détour. À faire absolument si vous êtes de passage à Marrakech, surtout en complément du Jardin Majorelle juste à côté.
