The building is historic and beautiful. The guided tour is personalized, interesting, and funny. We were greeted with a free cocktail that we were allowed to bring on the tour, which was just the right length. I learned a lot about the Jameson family history - special to me particularly as my name is Suzi Jameson ! There are plenty of lovely souvenirs to buy at the end. A lovely experience!

What I loved most about the tour was the whiskey, of course and the opportunity to sample three different types. The history of the Jameson family and the brewing methods were very interesting. Our guide was excellent.

We loved our tour guide Nilles who was friendly, knowledgeable and funny! It was Absolutely wonderful, informative, excellent and delicious tour of Jameson and the awesome whiskeys. We loved the overall structure of having an initial drink at the bar prior to the tour which allowed people to meet each other including Nilles!!!!

Our host was excellent. Very informative and a very lively you could tell he loves his job! The distillery is also beautiful and the cheese platter and Jameson cocktail were lovely.

Jameson Distillery Bow St.

Founded in 1780, this historic distillery is the original home of Jameson whiskey and a landmark of Dublin’s Smithfield district. Today, it operates as an immersive visitor experience, celebrating centuries of Irish whiskey heritage.

What to bring

Bring a valid photo ID to verify your age, as you must be of legal drinking age to participate in whiskey tastings or cocktail making.

Large bags, suitcases, and oversized luggage are not permitted inside the venue.

Offensive dressing, including costumes, branded promotional clothing, or attire deemed inappropriate, is not allowed.

Due to venue restrictions, your pets cannot tag along.

Alcohol, drugs, and any form of intoxication are strictly prohibited on the premises.

Smoking is not allowed inside the distillery.
