A fun, knowledgeable chap gave us the history of the Jameson company and how it evolved. A flight of 3 of Jameson's whiskeys allowed everyone to compare the taste and mouthfeel of 3 of its flagship products. A fun hour or two, which also included a grog!

Great combo tour. Our Jameson guide, Sean, was the best! He is so knowledgeable and animated! He really made the tour! The Stoutie at Guiness was awesome! No one else in our tour did this and I'm glad we did!

Perfect tour, with superb Driver/Guide. Especially the irish humor was one of the highlights. Naturally, their knowledge of the city—as evidenced by the stories they shared—was excellent. Unfortunately, due to a physical issue, we couldn't visit the highlights, so we were limited to the bus tour, but that certainly made an impression. We will definitely be back. Thanks !

Our first driver was fantastic. I wish I'd caught his name and I wish we had stayed on the entire route with him. The second driver simply drove. The tour itself gives a great overview of the city.

Experience the best of Dublin’s history and liquid gold by pairing the world-famous Jameson Bow St. Experience with the city’s original DoDublin Hop-on Hop-off tour, while saving 5%.

Getting started

Your adventure begins at any of the 30+ DoDublin stops located across the city. Simply present your mobile ticket to the driver on the green bus to receive your 24-hour boarding pass and your Little Museum ticket. For the most direct route to your Jameson Distillery whiskey tasting, stay on board until Stop 23 (Aaran Quay), which drops you at the very doorstep of the Jameson Distillery.

What to expect

Jameson Distillery

Step into the original home of Jameson whiskey in Smithfield for an immersive, 45-minute journey through the craft of distilling. Led by an expert brand ambassador, you will explore the 18th-century heritage of Bow St., participate in a comparative tasting, and enjoy a signature cocktail in the heart of where the legend began.

Features:

Award-winning heritage tour: Trace the "Grain to Glass" process through the historic distillery buildings. You’ll hear the stories of John Jameson’s legacy and the workers who made this the world’s most famous Irish whiskey.

Comparative tasting: Sharpen your palate with a guided tasting of three distinct whiskeys. This comparative session helps you identify the unique smooth notes of Jameson against Scotch and American Bourbon.

Signature Jameson cocktail: Conclude your tour at JJ’s Bar with a complimentary Jameson signature drink. Whether it's a classic Ginger and Lime or a seasonal serve, it’s the perfect way to toast to your Dublin adventure.

DoDublin Hop-on Hop-off Tour

Expect a masterclass in local culture with Dublin’s #1 bus tour. With a 24-hour pass, you have the freedom to explore at your own pace while enjoying live commentary from Fáilte Ireland-trained guides—native Dubliners renowned for their "gift of the gab," jokes, and songs.

Total city access: With two superb routes and over 30 stops, you can hop off at major icons like the Guinness Storehouse, Trinity College, and Dublin Zoo, then hop back on when you're ready to continue.

Local expert guides: Unlike standard pre-recorded tours, DoDublin features live English-speaking guides who bring the city to life with historic references, poetry, and legendary Dublin wit. Multilingual audio is also available in 9 languages.

Amazing meal deals: Flash your ticket at participating local restaurants and pubs across the city to unlock exclusive 2-for-1 discounts on food and drink.

Free entry to The Little Museum of Dublin: Explore 'Ireland's Best Museum Experience' at no extra cost—simply ask your driver for the voucher.

Complimentary city map: Navigate Dublin’s streets like a local with a free, detailed map provided upon boarding.
