We went to see westlife at the 02 arena, the cable car allowed us to see the arena from the other side and see how large it actually is, we were able to watch the climbers at the top of the arena too. We then saw a food festival that was happening on the other side and someone was water boarding too. It just made our whole day magical. I will definitely be back again soon as we would love to show my children and grandchild the other side of London. Many thanks for making our day special

The Cutty Sark was in excellent condition - a remarkable renovation. The Cable Car a totally new experince with great views/. My grandson thoroughly enjoyed the trip - apart the slightly high wind. The slight downside is simply the difficulty & time in getting to both venues.

We went on a Monday and there was no queue so we hopped straight on. The weather was sunny and bright so the views were fantastic. I really enjoyed the ride and being so close to the O2 meant lots of places to choose from for lunch. A lovely day out.

Hi it was fantastic experience,we just use cable car at evening after 7:00pm so the view was brilliant when was dark, the lights over the London made great views

Made the trip to Cable Car with two of our grandchildren aged 6 and 9. I bought a family return ticket and sadly upon seeing the ride our 6 year old was in tears as she was too frightened to take the cable trip. No consoling her could change her mind so I took the ride with my grandson and my wife stayed with our granddaughter. To my complete surprise upon returning to the end of the ride one of you very kind staff had said to my wife that as we had paid for a family ticket then she could take another ride with my grandson. As you can expect he was delighted to ride again and my wife was very happy to go with him. As to my granddaughter she made the statement "perhaps I'll go on the cable car next year when I'll be a year older" ( how sweet ). Such an excellent gesture by your staff member who is a credit to your business.

Ein herrlicher warmer Herbstabend auf der Themse mit gut gelaunten Personal. Das Boot war groß und sauber, es gab auch Snacks und Getränke.Die Fahrt vom Anleger am Tower bis zur Seilbahn dauerte ca. 30 min. 5 Minuten Fußweg zur Seilbahn und es war keine Warteschlange dort. (Besuchstag Montag) Wir hatten eine Kabine für uns alleine. In 90m Höhe ging es quer über die Themse und man hatte einen traumhaften Blick in den abendlichen Himmel mit der Skyline von London. Ich wollte ein paar schöne Bilder zum Sonnenuntergang machen und das hat gut geklappt. Leider waren die Scheiben der Kabinen nicht so super sauber. Das wird sich wohl beim wechselnden Wetter in London nicht ändern lassen. Die Fotos sind trotzdem ganz nett geworden. Der Rückweg ins Centrum war etwas abenteuerlich. Das sollte man vorher schon mal auskundschaften.

It was a very smooth entry and no queue. It was such an amazing view and the heights it reached was phoenmonal. Lasted 20 mins for there and back, and was smooth. The most break taking views and good service.

Getting started

Start your day at any of the 20+ Uber Boat piers to validate your pass. Your 1-day pass allows for unlimited travel throughout the day, while the Cable Car offers a flexible, timed flight between North Greenwich and the Royal Docks.

What to expect

IFS Cloud Cable Car

Arrive at North Greenwich Pier and take a short walk to the terminal for a 10-minute aerial flight across the Thames toward the Royal Victoria Dock.

Features:

360° views of the Thames Barrier, The O2, and the skyscrapers of Canary Wharf.

Thames River Uber Boat

Board a high-speed catamaran to navigate the Thames at your own pace, using the hop-on-hop-off flexibility to stop at major landmarks between Putney and Barking Riverside.

Unlimited 1-day access to all river zones with boats departing every 15 to 20 minutes.

Climate-controlled indoor seating and open-air back decks for sightseeing.

Your experience concludes back at your chosen pier or terminal. Most visitors use the Uber Boat to return to Central London after completing their round-trip flight at North Greenwich.

What’s not allowed

IFS Cloud Cable Car

E-scooters, e-bikes and e-unicycles are prohibited on the IFS Cloud Cable Car in line with TfL policy.

Thames River Uber Boat

Sharp metallic tools or objects, inflammable objects and items over 2 meters in length are not allowed on this experience.

Accessibility

IFS Cloud Cable Car

This experience is wheelchair accessible.

The maximum weight for wheelchairs is 300kg, and the maximum size is 700mm by 1300mm.

You get on and off through the same doors, so there may not be enough space for you to turn around. This means you may have to reverse your wheelchair or scooter to get in or out of the cars.

The cable cars can be slowed down to allow you plenty of time to board.

Electric wheelchairs and mobility scooters must be turned off inside the cars.

This experience may not be suitable for guests with vertigo, motion sensitivity, acrophobia (fear of heights), heart conditions, or anxiety disorders.

For your convenience, your guide dogs are welcome to join you.

Thames River Uber Boat

All the piers are step-free and wheelchair accessible except for Cadogan, London Bridge City, and Wandsworth Riverside Quarter piers.

All the boats are wheelchair, mobility scooter, and pram accessible, and use ramps for boarding.

There can be a maximum of four wheelchairs on the larger boats, and they can accommodate a further three folded wheelchairs. Electronic wheelchairs are also welcome.

All boats, except Star, Storm, and Sky Clipper, have accessible toilets.

If a carer’s assistance is required, a complimentary companion ticket is issued to match the primary ticket at any staffed ticket office.

Your guide dogs are welcome on the transport.

Additional information

IFS Cloud Cable Car

Arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled time to allow for boarding procedures.

Tickets are valid only for the date selected at the time of booking.

You can either remain in the car and return to your starting terminal or get off at the opposite terminal and make your return at any time on the same day.

The cars arrive every 30 seconds and carry up to 10 people.

The IFS Cloud Cable Car may temporarily close due to lightning and thunder in the immediate area or very strong winds.

Bicycles are accepted on the IFS Cloud Cable Car at all times. Guests with bicycles travel for free on the cable car before 10:30am on weekdays, excluding bank holidays.

Children under the age of five travel free (when accompanied by a fare-paying adult). Children up to the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Pets are allowed in the cars but must be carried at all times.

Thames River Uber Boat

Cash payments are not accepted at piers or at café bars. We recommend you order at the bar and pay with a card or payment device if you would prefer.

Children under the age of ten must remain with a supervising adult at all times.

Larger boats have baby-changing tables.
