It's was a nice way to see the river at night. Unfortunately crowded and very rude people onboard. Staff did a good job of dealing with people standing on seats etc.

Loved the experience and really well organised so no long wait, the views were incredible would recommend for anyone. The only negative I found were staff were very moody when queuing up and getting off the ride with no interaction. We did catch the Uber boat afterwards which added to the trip

Selecting 2 tickets was straight forward and having the purchased ticket available via your cellphone or printout made it convenient. We used the opportunity to get a grand view of London's Docklands area. From the O2 Centre to the very River Thames itself. It presented an ever changing cityscape showing architecture amazing in design. We saw it rain, and sunshine in varying measure, an amazing site.

Getting started

Start your day at any of the 20+ Uber Boat piers to validate your pass. Your 1-day pass allows for unlimited travel throughout the day, while the Cable Car offers a flexible, timed flight between North Greenwich and the Royal Docks.

What to expect

IFS Cloud Cable Car

Arrive at North Greenwich Pier and take a short walk to the terminal for a 10-minute aerial flight across the Thames toward the Royal Victoria Dock.

Features:

Round-trip flight in a private or shared cabin reaching heights of 90 meters.

360° views of the Thames Barrier, The O2, and the skyscrapers of Canary Wharf.

Thames River Uber Boat

Board a high-speed catamaran to navigate the Thames at your own pace, using the hop-on-hop-off flexibility to stop at major landmarks between Putney and Barking Riverside.

Features:

Unlimited 1-day access to all river zones with boats departing every 15 to 20 minutes.

Climate-controlled indoor seating and open-air back decks for sightseeing.

Onboard bar for refreshments as you cruise past the Tower of London and Westminster.

Your experience concludes back at your chosen pier or terminal. Most visitors use the Uber Boat to return to Central London after completing their round-trip flight at North Greenwich.

What’s not allowed

IFS Cloud Cable Car

E-scooters, e-bikes and e-unicycles are prohibited on the IFS Cloud Cable Car in line with TfL policy.

Thames River Uber Boat

Sharp metallic tools or objects, inflammable objects and items over 2 meters in length are not allowed on this experience.

Accessibility

IFS Cloud Cable Car

This experience is wheelchair accessible.

The maximum weight for wheelchairs is 300kg, and the maximum size is 700mm by 1300mm.

You get on and off through the same doors, so there may not be enough space for you to turn around. This means you may have to reverse your wheelchair or scooter to get in or out of the cars.

The cable cars can be slowed down to allow you plenty of time to board.

Electric wheelchairs and mobility scooters must be turned off inside the cars.

This experience may not be suitable for guests with vertigo, motion sensitivity, acrophobia (fear of heights), heart conditions, or anxiety disorders.

For your convenience, your guide dogs are welcome to join you.

Thames River Uber Boat

All the piers are step-free and wheelchair accessible except for Cadogan, London Bridge City, and Wandsworth Riverside Quarter piers.

All the boats are wheelchair, mobility scooter, and pram accessible, and use ramps for boarding.

There can be a maximum of four wheelchairs on the larger boats, and they can accommodate a further three folded wheelchairs. Electronic wheelchairs are also welcome.

All boats, except Star, Storm, and Sky Clipper, have accessible toilets.

If a carer’s assistance is required, a complimentary companion ticket is issued to match the primary ticket at any staffed ticket office.

Your guide dogs are welcome on the transport.

Additional information

IFS Cloud Cable Car

Arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled time to allow for boarding procedures.

Tickets are valid only for the date selected at the time of booking.

You can either remain in the car and return to your starting terminal or get off at the opposite terminal and make your return at any time on the same day.

The cars arrive every 30 seconds and carry up to 10 people.

The IFS Cloud Cable Car may temporarily close due to lightning and thunder in the immediate area or very strong winds.

Bicycles are accepted on the IFS Cloud Cable Car at all times. Guests with bicycles travel for free on the cable car before 10:30am on weekdays, excluding bank holidays.

Children under the age of five travel free (when accompanied by a fare-paying adult). Children up to the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Pets are allowed in the cars but must be carried at all times.

Thames River Uber Boat

Cash payments are not accepted at piers or at café bars. We recommend you order at the bar and pay with a card or payment device if you would prefer.

Children under the age of ten must remain with a supervising adult at all times.

Larger boats have baby-changing tables.
