Moment agréable de détente, sérénité et apaisement, expérience que nous avons réiterée, puisque nous étions déjà venu jeudi 28 mai. Ce mercredi 3 juin , il faisait doux , le jeudi 28 mai il faisait très froid, mais dans les 2 situatios le plaisir a été aussi présent. Un grand merci aux membres de l'accueil plein de gentillesse et de prévenance. Nous vous recommanderons à toutes nos connaissances et peut-être à bientôt!

We loved everything there, just a little bit disappointed about the towels. We didn't know they are not included. The website should say. Everywhere else we have been, they are included.

Went with my partner last weekend and honestly, this place is a DREAM. The steam rising off the water as the sun was setting made it look like a fairy tale. Staff were suuuper chill and helpful when we forgot our towels (whoops). Water temp was just right, even when it was freezing out. We stayed in for ages and barely noticed time passing. Only tiny minus: the showers were a bit crowded at 5pm, so maybe go a bit earlier? Otherwise, 10/10.

What to Expect

Secret Lagoon

The Secret Lagoon is Iceland’s oldest natural swimming pool, dating back to 1891. Fed by nearby hot springs, steam vents, and Icelandic scenery surround it, offering an authentic bathing experience in every season.

Features

Natural geysers: Watch Vaðmálahver, Básahver, and Litli Geysir erupt, supplying fresh geothermal water to the pool continuously.

Main pool: Soak in Iceland’s oldest natural swimming pool, heated naturally by nearby hot springs, perfect for a relaxing dip.

Surrounding scenery: Stroll around Hveraholmi and enjoy rugged lava terrain, lush moss, steaming vents, and colorful mineral deposits.

What to bring

Bring swimwear, as it is required to enter the pool.

What’s not allowed

Unaccompanied minors are not permitted on the premises.

Jumping or running is strictly prohibited.
