From Newcastle: Hunter Valley Wine Tour

Explore boutique Hunter Valley wineries on a curated small-group journey departing from Newcastle.

Getting started

Depart from Newcastle on your boutique Hunter Valley tasting tour and settle in for the drive into wine country. After meeting your group, you will travel together to the Hunter Valley region, where your guide outlines the day’s winery visits. On arrival in the valley, you move straight into your first cellar door tasting so you can start sampling without delay.

What to expect

Hunter Valley boutique wineries

This experience focuses on smaller, boutique Hunter Valley wine producers rather than large commercial estates. Your day is structured around visiting a selection of these cellar doors, with ample time at each stop to taste and compare regional styles.

Features

• At each boutique winery, you take part in a guided tasting session that introduces you to a range of Hunter Valley spirits poured for your group. Staff at the cellar doors explain what you are sampling and how it reflects local growing conditions and winemaking choices.
• The tour format is boutique and intimate, keeping the group together as you move between wineries from Newcastle so the pacing, transfers, and tastings are coordinated for you throughout the experience.
