Manny is an incredible driver. The way he maneuvered through those narrow spaces was remarkable! And Henry the tour guide--what a delight! So knowledgeable and funny! He was awesome. Honest and hilarious at times. Loved it. Highly recommend!!

Great tour to get to know the city and all the history of Philadelphia. The hop and off feature is actually really helpful so you can have more flexibility with exploring the city and the different landmarks

We had an absolutely amazing time. We had Ernest as a tour guide, and he was amazingly knowledgeable and kind and funny. Our bus did breakdown, but the tour guides make sure to make arrangements for everyone to get to the stop. They wanted to go to whoever owns. The company does not maintain the vehicles as good as they should. But the tour and tour guide themselves was absolutely amazing. We had a far more fun time on the city sightseeing bus thqn we did the big bus. anytime we got confused or lost if we got off a stop we were able to call Denise who drives the shuttle van and she was right to the rescue. vehicles breakdown. That was a very minor inconvenience especially when you have people like Ernest and Denise to ensure everything's ok. we enjoyed the sunny breeze so much. We almost bought tickets for the next day. We only didn't because the weather took a bad turn.

I had one day in Philadelphia and wanted to make the most of it. I wanted to see everything, so I booked the Hop On Hop off bus tour. Everything about this expierence exceeded my expectations. I visited in the middle of December, it was cold, yet I sat on the upper deck of the bus, and was warm. The view was spectacular, I sat in the back of the bus where there was no window so every picture I took was a 10 out of 10. The bus driver, and tour guide combo was fantastic, I wish I could remember his name ( long dark hair, middle aged man) So full of knowledge, we loved the tour so much that we road around twice. Was also asked to be let off at stop 14 to get to the Mutter museum. By the time we got to our stop it felt like we were leaving family. I would recommend this to anyone who loves history and photography.

First bus: 9:30am from stop #1 (The Bourse Building)

Last bus: 5pm from stop #1 (The Bourse Building)

You can join a tour at any stop and hop on and off for the duration of your ticket.

Accessibility

This experience is wheelchair and pram/stroller accessible.

Wheelchairs cannot be larger than 70cm wide, 120cm long, and 135cm high. You can contact the operator if your wheelchair exceeds these measurements, and they will assist you.

Each bus can only accommodate one wheelchair at a time. If there’s already a passenger in a wheelchair on the bus, you may have to wait for the next one.

Additional Information

Before you begin your tour, please head to Stop 1 (The Bourse Building) or Stop 5 (Reading Terminal Market) to receive a validated paper ticket from an official sales agent. Once you have this paper ticket, you can hop on and off freely at any of the other stops on the tour.

If you've purchased a paper ticket directly from the Visitor Center, you can start your tour at any of the stops and don't have to head to Stop 1 or 5.

Stop 1 (The Bourse Building) marks the start and end point of your tour. We recommend starting from this point so you don't miss out on information regarding detours and inaccessible stops.

Please note that the bus does not automatically halt at every stop along your route. It only stops when there are people waiting to board or if you inform the tour guide about wanting to hop off.
