Great way to see the beautiful and historical sights of Hobart in a way you don't get to travel often on red double decker bus ... bus drivers were very friendly and helpful over the two day ticket pass and as it was such beautiful weather we got to enjoy riding at the top of the bus with the sun shining down and the bouquet of scent in the air from all the lovely spring flowers... thank you for our wonderful experience 🌺🌸🌻💖xx

Tony the bus driver let my bus loving son sit in the drivers seat for a better look. My son is autistic and although I don't expect special treatment for him, Tony didn't even notice or do it because he was autistic. He just saw an excited boy ready to get on the bus. It was super sweet. The tour was really great too! We will definitely be going again!

Easy hop on and off experience, well thought out, comfortable ride that both my parents and children enjoyed. Weather dependent sitting upstairs however there is some cover at the front. Loved the open air experience and as a local would do it again.

Went on The Mount Wellington bus trip. Fabulous few hours and worth every penny. Very comfortable bus and the driver (Paul) is an asset to the company. Extremely knowledgeable topped off with a brilliant sense of humour. Oh, not to mention his perfect and professional driving skills lol (yes, he did tell us to say that). A must do when in Hobart.

This was such an awesome tour my family were visiting Hobart and we got to enjoy a beautiful walk around the botanical gardens then we hopped on the bus and weaved our way through the beautiful city of Hobart. We stopped at the cascade brewery for lunch and walked through the beautiful gardens.

Red route

For ramp access, it is recommended to board at Bus Stop A outside the Tasmanian Travel and Information Centre (corner of Elizabeth and Davey Street).

Your guide dogs are welcome at the venue.

Additional information

Luggage storage is available inside Brooke Street Pier, on its lower level. However, large items like suitcases cannot be accommodated on the bus due to space limitations.
