Our tour guide, Gianfranco, was extremely knowledgeable and charming. He had a light touch and was often quite amusing, but I was most impressed by his compassionate regard for the actual people who had been caught in the volcanic eruption. Going to both Pompeii and Herculaneum in a single day was a lot, but I was glad to have the information we had been given in Pompeii still fresh in my mind when we visited Herculaneum. I should also say that travelling with Headout from Naples was easy and convenient.

This was an extraordinary visit to an extremely well-preserved site, frozen in time. The survival of so many wooden artifacts—cots, room panels, and cupboards—brings the daily life of the era vividly to life. It is incredible to think that 80% of the ancient town remains buried beneath modern Ercolano.

Quand nous avons acheter les billets pour 4 personnes nous avons bien demandé un guide français pour Pompei et audioguide pour Herculanum !! Arrivé sur place pas de guide français pour lequel nous avons payé 314 € pour notre groupe. Le système pour Herculanum n était pas du tout a la hauteur de nos espérances. Nous sommes très déçu de cette expérience nous ne recommanderais pas votre agence a nos amis qui doivent venir l année prochaine
