Start your adventure at the Fox Glacier Flight Centre. After safely boarding the helicopter, you'll fly over the Fox Glacier. Here, you'll see its dramatic crevasses, waterfalls and even ice falls. As you take in the unique terrain, you'll listen to entertaining live commentary about the region from your expert tour guide. Catch sights of its wilderness and feast your eyes on the vast snowscapes underneath you.

You'll also see the famous Mt Cook and Mt Tasman during this exciting experience. Be sure to capture the beauty of these stunning skyscraping peaks, the tallest in the country. You'll enjoy a smooth landing onto the snowfields and get the opportunity to capture the best photographs of your trip. You can always play a snow fight as well!

Important Information

Ensure that you bring along sunglasses and sunscreen.

Wear outdoor clothing suitable for the snow, and covered shoes (sneakers or trainers are fine) or hiking boots.

You can bring your personal camera or GoPro.

Ensure that you have enough storage space on your memory card and/or phone for photographs.

It is suggested to leave your bags and other valuable belongings (e.g. passport and wallet) at the operator’s office or inside your car.

Please note that the availability, route, and length of your scenic flight will be dependent on weather conditions on the day.

It is illegal to use drones in the area, so please leave yours in the car if you have one.

Selfie sticks are not allowed to use in the helicopter.

Please note that passengers are not allowed to use iPads to take photos during flights as they can impede the view of the pilot and other passengers.
