Your scenic adventure begins at Queenstown where you hop on a cozy & comfortable minibus. You’ll drive past lovely landscapes of green & snow-capped mountains as your guide points out and describes the area’s famous highlights. On the way, you will also come across the tranquil lakeside scenery of Cromwell, home to award-winning wineries & delicious cherries! Climbing in altitude you’ll discover beautiful views from Lindis Pass, 971m above sea level. Be sure to capture stunning pictures of the valley from the lookout.
Lake Pukaki
As you enter the Aoraki National Park, Lake Pukaki will begin to emerge before you. Famous as one of the most beautiful lakes in all of New Zealand, it is truly a sight to behold with its vibrant blue color against the backdrop of Mt Cook and the Southern Alps.
Mt Cook
You’ll then arrive at Mt Cook Village from where you can get amazing clicks of the mountain and listen to interesting stories & facts about the place narrated by your local tour guide. At Mt Cook National Park you get to enjoy picturesque walks or one of the extra optional activities like the Hooker Valley hike, scenic flights which land on Tasmin Glacier or adventurous Heli Hikes.
Lake Tekapo
Watch the serene turquoise blue waters of this world-famous lake as you capture breathtaking photos for your Instagram. You’ll also visit the Church of the Good Shepard set amidst the alluring panorama of Tekapo lake and the mountains before you end your trip at Christchurch.
