Guided Tours in Los Angeles

I had an absolute blast on the TMZ Celebrity Tour yesterday at 4:00 PM! This tour is unlike any other celebrity tour in Los Angeles. What really sets it apart is the pop-culture perspective—it feels just like watching the TMZ show live, with insider commentary and dirty little Hollywood secrets you don’t hear anywhere else. Our tour guide , Capone, was hilariously funny, high-energy, and interactive—playing games with guests throughout the ride (I even won a TMZ Celebrity Tour T-shirt!). Everyone on board also received a TMZ Tours Santa hat, which added a fun, festive touch to the experience. We cruised through Los Angeles past famous restaurants, iconic locations, and celebrity neighborhoods, all while hearing entertaining and often surprising stories. The bus has TV screens playing TMZ videos that perfectly complement the live commentary, including insights led by Harvey Levin and the TMZ staff you see on the show. Harvey even shared personal stories and fun facts from his time living and working in Hollywood, which made it feel extra authentic. Although it’s common to spot celebrities on the tour, I went on a chilly Sunday evening in December, so I didn’t personally run into one this time. That said, the guide explained that if a celebrity is spotted, he on behalf of TMZ will actually hop off the tour bus to approach them and invite them onto the bus to say hello—and they usually say yes! That alone makes this tour stand out from the rest. I loved every minute of this experience, highly recommend it, and will absolutely do it again the next time I’m in Los Angeles.
