The plane ride was awesome. You get to see the canyon in a different light. The pilot was wonderful. The hummer tour was fun, our guide was very knowledgable, we learned a lot from both our guides. I would recommend this tour .

Everyone, and I mean everyone, reception, ground crew, and pilot were super. They were professional, polite, and very helpful. Once airborn the tour was unbelievable. You could see things you'd never see from the ground. The pilot's narrative was quite useful, and his choice of music added a bit of humor to the experience. My wife and I would recommend it to everybody. It was worth every penny.

My experience with Papillon Helicopters was absolutely fantastic—I could not have hoped for anything better! From start to finish, the staff made everything smooth and enjoyable. The check-in process was easy, the team was professional and friendly, and safety was clearly a top priority.The helicopter ride itself was unforgettable. The views of the Grand Canyon from above were breathtaking—seeing the canyon walls, the river, and the vast expanse from that perspective was truly once-in-a-lifetime. I was pleasantly surprised when Corey, our pilot, started playing the main Star Wars theme just as we were ascending. That made it even better! Canyon. If you want an experience that combines adventure, beauty, and top-notch service, this is it!

It was an unforgettable experience! Our pilot (Kalon) guided us and calmed our initial nerves. Otherwise, we just enjoyed the amazing scenery. It was great!

Getting started

Arrive at the airport 30 mins before your scheduled tour time for ID and ticket verification. Security screening is mandatory before boarding. Headsets are provided before takeoff.

After the flight, your tour group will move to the Hummer boarding area inside the park.

What to bring

Guests 18 years and older must bring a government-issued form of identification.

Layered clothing is recommended from March - Sept, and winter clothing from Oct to mid-March. Sneakers or hiking boots are highly recommended.

What's not allowed

Purses, backpacks, and other baggage are not permitted on the aircraft due to limited space.

Use of 'selfie sticks' and extended camera poles is strictly prohibited in and around the aircraft.

Additional information

Guests must provide their own transportation to the Grand Canyon Terminal.

Passengers weighing 300 pounds (136 kg) or more will be charged for an additional comfort seat.

In the event of an increased price of aviation fuel, a per-person fuel surcharge may apply.

Passengers under the age of 15 cannot travel alone and must be accompanied by a responsible adult aged 18 years or older.

No-show reservations will be canceled if the passenger has not checked in at least 45 minutes before flight time.
