It was cloudy and cold day, made it perfect for museum visit. Impressive collection of art, special exhibition was great,.and learnt that Robert Morrison might be supported by the artist's family.

premesso che sono molto più attirato dalla pittura che dalla storia egizia e greco-romana, ho apprezzato tantissimo i capolavori della pittura rinascimentale e barocca, fiamminga, italiana, francese e spagnola. Un vero paradiso! Bruegel, Vermeer, Rubens, Rembrandt, Van Dyck, Caravaggio, Mantegna, Perugino, Raffaello, Tiziano, Tintoretto, Velasquez, David e tanti altri. In pratica, ci sono tutti!!!

Die Wagenburg war mit Sicherheit eines der Highlights unseres Wienaufenthalts. In die Geschichte so eintauchen zu können, fand ich besonders schön, wenn man tatsächlich mehrere echte Wagen sowie andere Ausstellungsstücke sieht, die der kaiserliche Hof fast täglich genutzt hat. Alles in allem war es ein sehr schönes Erlebnis.
